In short: it is an opioid, like heroin, but about 50 times as potent by weight. The high is very short-acting, lasts an hour or two, and similar to heroin. It comes in a dilute injectable solution, long-acting (several days) patches, and in lollipops. If you have some, be very respectful of it; the amount of fentanyl that could fit in a grain of salt is more than enough to kill you.
