Fentanyl withdrawal after one use?

This was my first time ever using it and I used 75mcg/hr. Kept it on for four days and was extremely under the influence the whole time but now that Ive taken it off it feels like im in withdrawal. Its way more apparent at night because for the past two nights i've been trying to sleep and would all of a sudden feel very uncomfortable to the point of going crazy, which really reminded me of coming down off using xanax for a while...it was horrible. So can one use of fent really cause this withdrawal im feeling or is there something else going on there? I didn't think one use of anything could make you go into wd...although I guess fent. mite be a diff story I guess seeing its is kind of a unique opiate.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was mild wd. You can't think of it as 'one use', rather, lots and lots of continuous small doses over a period of 4 days.

^ exactly - 4 days isn't hugely long but it isn't one dose of fentanyl, it's a constant steady level in your bloodstream for 4 days. It shouldn't be anything too major though, hopefully you'll be over the worst soon

You were continuously "extremely" high on fent for 4 days - it's hardly surprising that you're experiencing mild w/d symptoms now....

Would you be surprised if you experienced w/d after going on a 4-day oxy binge, popping oxy every time you started coming down? What you did is more or less equivalent to that.

I think it's more of a comedown or a hangover after only 4 days. I find opiates have a rebound effect more like a cocaine/methamphetamine crash if you don't use all the time. Maybe fentanyl is different?

You're experiencing "fentanyl blues" as I like to call them.

It's the recovery period after a fentanyl binge, and is pretty common. It could be though of as a mild withdrawal, but I prefer the 'comedown' perspective. It will pass in the next day or so, until then just recoup.
