Opioids Fentanyl vs Oxycodone-what would you do?

Hi
I'm new here. My friend uses 25 mcg fentanyl mylan patches and 1 10mg oxy a day for breakthrough.
She likes the buzz of oxy and takes more than the one a day so she runs out before next script. The patch works wonders for her pain but she's a little afraid of getting hooked and worries about the patch in general since she tans,exercise, etc and raises the body temp.

Her current PM won't up the oxy which is what she really wants but she has a chance to go to a new PM doc TODAY and wants to suggest to him to come off the patch and up the oxy as the main pain med. this will work hor her and give her the buzz she wants.

What do you think? Smart move? Do you think it'll work? Kinda giving away the big gun fentanyl for 3pills a day. Btw-she has patches to help with WD and the doc would help too.
Buying more oxy on the street won't work for her so it's RX only as an option.

She's not gonna get good coverage for her pain on 3xoxy10. Not compared to a fent patch. I had the same option but ox15x3 . I chose the ox and fuck do I regret it. These pills last maybe 4hrs for pain man. If her pain isn't that serious and she wants rec effects then the ox might be the way to go but idk. Those 10s aren't gonna work(euphoria) as good without that patch on. Right now she's got 2 opiates goin so that y she really likes those 10s but that's all over once that patch comes off. Tolerance shoots up and she'll be stuck. I wish everyday I would've took the patch with some small bt med. both for euphoria and pain coverage. Just my honest opinion. The dr may also think she is drug seeking as most know the euphoria with ox is better than fent. IMO and easier to abuse/divert. A bird in hand is worth 2 in the bush and all. U know?

We really can't advise what to talk to your doctor about. That being said. 30mg of oxycodone isn't going to be shit for pain management, and she'll probably end up eating through that script pretty quick.

edit: also, fent patch w/d's are gonna be long and rough considering fentanyl has a 28 hour half-life when taken transdermally.

So it turns out my friend went in to the new doctor-they want to try the mckenzie method of physical therapy to try to help her and get her off the fentanyl patch. Before the patch, she was fine with just oxy for pain. The patch is great but it's not really necessary and there's no buzz for her. If she can be medically detoxed off the patch over several weeks, would you go for the oxy. Fentanyl is stronger but oxy gives energy and a nice buzz. I guess she/I just want some validation to this. Cuz once she switches pain docs -that's it-no more fentanyl in all likelihood. Thanks!!!!
 
. If they won't YOU off the patch, they aren't going to up you're oxy for you. They know patches are (generally) less abusable than pills.

If you wanna be a happy opioid addict, probably find another doctor. Anyway, I don't really like the direction of this thread, so peace

And as mentioned, we can't tell you what to tell you're doctor.

I would not trade a fent patch for oxy. I would try to save some oxys and let the fent hold you over for a couple days and then take 3 or 4 oxys at once to catch a buzz. Also, I would not detox off fent to maybe get more oxy because you probably will just end up sick and in pain.
 
Yeah man sounds like they want u outta pm so I doubt the oxytrain is gonna be around for more than a few mths, you might want to use the Oxys u got to start weening on your own terms before it gets really crazy/expensive bro, either way I wish u luck man most if us have been there once or twice...
 
help on phone cant post. computer dead. need help. urgent. advice.

two days ago did small ab codeine extract. one with hcl other h2so4. far in excess i realised. it was hot. fumes got in from the balcony. ive been cleaning for 2 days. sodium bicarbonate solution. then soap. tonight its back. ive washed my clothes. most walls. even ceilings. floors mopped.

it seem to pool around the ceiling at night around a light and form.condensation droplets. this is eatig my skin not good for me. it is dangerous. i am afraid tp leave the hoyse in case it goes up.

out of bicarbonate. should i make up a dilute naoh solution and use vinegar to neutralise. how do i get rid of this shit. good air flow. my gf will kill me
