So I recently purchased 50 mg of 98% fentanyl powder. This is probably one of the the most dangerous possible ways to interact with drugs.

So the way I intend on using it is to dilute the drug with saline solution and put it in a nasal sprayer. I'm completely opiate naive and I need help with the dosing.

What milligram/milliliter ratio should I use? What is the single dose conversion of fentanyl to oxycodone? What safety precautions should I be taking while I make the stuff?

Please, no preachers in this thread. I know its dangerous. I know its not safe to do with no opiate tolerance. You aren't going to convince me to just throw it away. I already bought the stuff. It's incredibly cheap compared to any other opiate I have access to. Harm reduction only please.

I know you said no preaching and I'm not but given how incredibly dangerous it is there is the possibility of people not wanting to answer because the wrong advise can kill you. I unfortunately do not know enough to even guess the only thing I can say is wear gloves and I'd get a mask too. With no tolerance it's possible to OD easily.

Also what type of fentanyl do you have? There are a few common ones and which it is makes a difference.

It's just regular fentanyl. I have a nasal sprayer witch distributes .1 ml per spray. Im thinking of using .5 mg/ml. That would be about .05 mg/dose. Does this sound safe-ish (i mean, for fentanyl)? I find it incredible how little information there is on this on the internet.

Ugh I'm gonna have to go with I can't even begin to do the math to get this down for ya.
I'm withdrawing a bit atm from a very long habit, that I hope my PM doc fixes come Monday.
Seriously though your playing with fire.
I know guys who slam speedballs 24/7 hell I've done it myself.
Yet I've seen at least 3 of the most hardcore users I know OD off Fent.
So in the interest of HR I'm not gonna be able to provide you with any numbers.
Just make sure you have Narcan handy.
Also someone to administer it/call Emergency services if something goes wrong.
Other than that, the information is actually not that hard to find, just do a search.
If I wasn't sick I'd find it for ya. It's readily available. At least your trying to do HR.
So props there. Not sure on the Nasal BA though, that might complicate it.

Honestly it sounds really risky...as other ppl have said, fentanyl drops really experienced opiate users, with major habits, all the time. And then there's the chance of something going wrong with the mixing, or something, and just massively OD'ing. For real, if you have no opiate tolerance, don't do fentanyl. Trade it for something way lighter if you want to experience opioids.

Edit: Not trying to be preachy, but HR in this instance would be to not do fentanyl. The slightest error could kill you. And it's not like you are addicted and don't have a choice, ya know?

Hey everyone, just thought I would do a little update. After researching it some more I decided on 50 mg into 75 ml of water. Placed the water into a nasal sprayer that dosed .1 ml per spray. In case anyone else is in the same position I was, i.e. determined to do it, then you should know that this dosage turned out to be fine.

It took about 4-5 sprays for a good dose (I weigh 180 lb), but even my 100 lb friend took four sprays and was fine. If it were any weaker though, it would have been inconvenient to use that many sprays. So id call this dosage ideal.

The risk of overdose comes from how easy it is to take more. When you have to line up a line or cook a shot or get out the foil, it takes time to get some opiate in you. When you can just put this in your nose and spay it, it's really easy to take too much because you didn't wait for your your initial dose to kick in and there was nothing stopping you from taking more.

The first day I had my mix I got a little over zealous and had some issues with respiratory depression (I had difficulty breathing), but that was because I hit the bottle about 10 times. Just don't be dumb and you'll be fine.

Yeah nasal sprays can be an issue. Glad to hear you made out ok though.
I know when I made an Oxymorphone nasal spray years ago that it got out of hand.
I ended up having to go cold turkey. Luckily I have massive willpower.

Also lucky it was before I discovered the needle, but meh.
I can put that down easily enough as well oddly enough.
Only reason I say that as I probably would have OD'd shooting Opana;
at that point in my life, as I wasn't as knowledgeable.
Not due to addiction/dependency issues.

As even with the spray it got to where I couldn't sleep through a night.
Had to wake up & do a spray as I'd wake up in horrid w/d's.
Oxymorphone has some nasty withdrawals even though half life is longer.
I found that the half life for me was really short.
Would have to wake up & re-dose at least once or twice a night.

So watch out for that if you start carrying the spray around & get dependent.
As with fentanyl's short half life you'll run into not being able to sleep 8 hours.
You'll have to wake up to re-dose. Just a heads up.

I got off the spray by cold turkeying it, laid in a bath tub, puking & shitting myself;
for a week or 2.
Just to prove a point I kept a bottle of Opana on the counter next to the tub.

Not that it mattered, turns out I actually did have major pain issues.
Ended up in pain management in the long run, so guess it's kinda meh.
Though I digress getting off topic, in w/d's ATM & rambling.
It's a long saga so not gonna get into it as TDS/Mental Health has the details.

Best of luck to you on not getting dependent or having any other issues.
Be careful it's easy to over do it with a spray & be sure to shake well.
As sometimes concentration can end up varying.
Regardless just be careful & best of luck to you.
