fentanyl patch- first time anyone help?

-how should i take it?
How much should i take?, my tolerance is two oxy 30 mg ir snorted or popped dont matter.
Any suggestions?

Are you planning on just wearing the patch or cutting strips off and sucking it? Fentanyl is an extremely potent opiate, something like 300 times the potency of heroin. I don't know a great deal about this but i wouldn't experiment until someone who does posts.

All I can really tell you is that it's heavily sedative and not as euphoric as others in the same class.
 
Well i was plannin on cuttin it in like 1/4s and puttin it under the tounge like the person said. But i dont think my tolerance is big enough to put the whole patch on.
 
What strength patch is it?

Remember - the patch strength is the micrograms per hour that it releases, and it is designed to be worn for 72 hours, so the total fentanyl content is 72 x the mcg per hour quoted on the patch.

Be very very careful..
 
If your tolerance is 60mg IR of oxy, this Fentanyl will be too much for you imo. Wear it normal like & if you start to feel nauseated, take it off. I wouldnt recommend cutting it up in pieces & putting it in you mouth.
 
^yeah this is probably correct - but fent patches come in such a wide range, we can't possibly advise you Alprazolam8129 at all unless you let us know the strength! :)

Fentanyl needs a lot of respect, I know people who have lost their lives to it..
 
If it's a gel patch try freebasing a little glob on foil, gives me a head rush unlike any other opiate/opioids. I have a moderate tolerance to opiates, I've been using them recreationally for awhile now. I split an actavis 100 mcg patch with three of my friends and was high for two days and i only used a little over 25 mcg. I'm personally a big fan of the fetanyl high, it's unique.

Did you find that it raised your tolerance at all?

Yeah.........thats my fear, that if I would try it & do it a couple of times, I wouldnt be able to feel my prescribed 10/325 Norcos which I need for my scoliosis.
 
Without knowing the strength of the patch I wouldn’t advise the OP to even put the patch on and wear it.

It is my understanding that once the patch is applied a certain amount of fent is released into the subcutaneous fat to then be released into the blood over time. This is the reason that many people have to change the patches every 48 hours instead of 72 as the patch is actually using the body to do part of it controlled release. Since everyone’s body is different the rate the drug is released into the blood varies.

By the time he feels the effects might be too strong and removes the patch it might be too late as a lot more fent has been deposited in his body than he is feeling in his blood.

Please correct me if I am wrong here.

Good points........Fentanyl should be used by chronic pain patients that have gone threw the other opiates like oxycontin, morphine & opana. I will personally try opana before ever trying fentanyl.
 
Dude... I don't want to sound like your dad or anything but... I am taking prescription Fentanyl - 100mcg patches every 48 hours for unimaginable pain. If I had known what the withdrawal effects were like BEFORE I started using this medication, I would NEVER HAVE TRIED IT in the first place.

I am telling you - unless you HAVE to take this drug - don't. It isn't ANY fun - very little narcotic effect - except for making it easy to fall asleep at a moments notice. It is very effective for controling pain, but when it starts to leave my system, I get extreme Fevers and chills and sweats. I can sweat through a set of clothing in 3 minutes. The shaking and trembling is aweful but the worst part of it is the "itchies" and the muscle twitches... It feels like spiders are crawling all over my skin.

I repeat - if you don't HAVE to take this drug - DON'T. The down side isn't worth the benefit.
 
Trade or sell it for oxy. The thing with fent is often times you dont "feel" it until you're about to pass out or on the brink of an OD. 60mg oxy isn't a very big tolerance. There's such a fine line with fent. Fuck trade it and try to get some Opana. 25mcg patch xis basically the same as being on 60mg of oxy a day. The unfortunate thing about fentanyl is it's not all euphoric. It works for pain,it will stave off WD... Amrit can kill you, easily.

This. Fentanyl is really dangerous and wearing a too-strong patch is a recipe for disaster.. we still don't know the strength of the patch in question either.

The safest way in terms of OD is cutting off a teeny tiny bit and smoking it but I shudder to think what else you are breathing in to your lungs, so I really struggle with this, hah..

Overall if you are used to 60mg oxy OP I agree with the others that messing with fentanyl is not a good plan.
 
I have a decent opiate tolerance, and a trusted buddy with a lot of opiates experience gave me the tiniest piece too eat. It was tiny, and it floored me It wasn't that enjoyable for me at least your tolerance is definitely higher than mine i would trade for something a little easier to gauge your dose.

I have done Fent once and really enjoyed it. Depending on the strength of the patch cut a bit off and smoke it off of a foil. Take small 'tokes' and asses it each time to see if you can feel anything. This way at least it is more difficult to OD on than sticking it on or holding it under your tongue, you can listen to your body and stop taking more when you get to a level that you like. I would really advise against putting the whole patch on or even cutting it into 1/4's and holding it under your tongue. This sounds like a sure fire way to kill yourself if it is a strong patch.

It is very short acting compared to most other opiates though so be careful in redosing.

As already stated you need to respect this drug, it can and will kill if you take too much so if you can let us know the strength and type of it we can help you further.
 
Most amazing way to administer fentanyl in my experience and opinion is via nebulizer... but it requires the use of Fentanyl Inj. which most people won't see... 25mcg fentanyl/3ml QS'd with normal sterile water or normal saline via neb... My God.

I really enjoyed it too, I found smoking it to be a very euphoric rush IMO even in comparison to the highs of heroin, oxymorphone and other various potent opioids. Although the overall high isn't nearly as euphoric as heroin or oxymorphone (herion has the incomparable warmth and comforting euphoria and oxy with it's strong sociable high)
 
Glad you all enjoyed it. Just be aware that it is a very potent opioid, and has a high risk of fatalities if you are not very, very careful..

Am going to close this now as the OP hasn't returned to tell us what strength, and the consensus generally is don't do it with an oxy tolerance of only 60mg.
