Opioids Fentanyl patch during H W/D's?

Hi all, I know some are of the opinion that trying to reduce or alleviate completely the symptoms of withdrawal using other opiates is counter productive however I have found it an aid. I'm quitting H (again, I smoke as ROA, up to 2 grams a day of UK 'brown') been an everyday thing since April with a 4 day break about 6 weeks ago. I have a 12.5mcg per hour Fentanyl patch and wanted opinions on putting it on tomorrow, which willbe my first H free day, supposed to last 3 days so I'm hoping it might smooth the ride a little, from my experience it's days 2 and 4 that are the worst so I'm hoping to not suffer as much by wearing the fent, don't want to get high just want an aid. What are your thoughts?

well it depends how pure the H you get is if the patch will help or not

i was using about .5 so 5 £10 bags a day when my nan got i'll an i got some of the 50mcg patchs an i swear they take like 8-9 hours to kick in but when they do i was high. so proberly not much good for a withdrawal. don't know if this helps?

Its just going to prolong your withdrawal if I were u I would try to find some suboxone and say fuck the patch but thats just me.

Got a friend that can get Fentanyl patches whenever but I wont touch that shit. Can you get anything weaker than Fentanyl?

Thanks for the responses, a mixed bag : as I expected. I can't get hold of anything weaker and do not like the sound of prolonging anything, however i may well put it on before bed so I can gauge it's effects upon waking and make my decision based on that.
