Fentanyl help please

Had a 25mcg clear patch. I squeezed the gel out which I soon found out was a bad idea because I should have just slapped the patch on. Before I go any further let me say I have an extraordinarily high opiate tolerance: 1 gram of heroine a day plus as many 20 10/325, i usually take 10 at a time... So just to let y'all know a little bit about my tolerance.

Q: I want to use the gel in another way than smoking, snorting, or swallowing... Basically I'd like to IV it. Now I know I'm going to get jumped on by everyone and they're dog about IVing it because it's suppossed to kill easily, which I don't doubt. Just some information would be nice. Thank you

Sorry to be so predictive here but mate, seriously don't do it. This is a HR site so the only advice we can give you here is that which will reduce harm. In encouraging you to inject Fentanyl I cannot see any positive results coming!

Fentanyl isn't as euphoric as heroin as you're putting yourself at risk for nothing.

I don't know about the practicalities of preparing the gel for IV administration.. there is a thread on it here (from the Other Drugs directory).

However, Glitched is right. I understand that you have an opioid tolerance, but fentanyl is an incredibly potent opioid and there is a very fine line between a recreational dose and a fatal dose. To make things harder, you can't use an opioid converter to work out your equivalent fentanyl tolerance from your heroin tolerance, as purity of heroin varies a lot.

Now you've squeezed the gel out, I can't see how there is any safe way for you to measure out a safe dose, even if you knew what the equivalent dose was.. it's just so risky. Fentanyl kills a lot of people, and IV is the most dangerous way to administer it. Please reconsider..

I know people use Vinegar to extract the fentanyl to prep for IV but I don't IV the shit so I am not sure of the process but you can probably google Vinegar extraction Fentanyl for more help!! Good luck and be safe!

ETA: If you squeezed the gel out you wrecked it... the best way is to put the gel in your cheek or use it sublingually. I do not find fentanyl to be all that euphoric, however if you're deadset that is your only way to use it at this point. You need to put the whole patch in the Vinegar for a successful extraction. I have messed with fent recreationally and there is a fine line between any euphoria and OD... I am not a fan at all. You should have sold the patch and scored some smack. Once again good luck!

Also don't throw the patch itself away. There is still fentanyl still in it. You can chew it like gum. The gel will dry up quickly now that it's out of the patch so if you intend to try to use it you should do it soon. Don't bother swallowing it as your stomach destroys fentanyl and its analogues thus making it useless.

For the sake of Harm Reduction, I will echo what has already been said about the dangers of Fentanyl. However, I was in the exact same situation as you, my opiate tolerance used to be through the roof just like yours (years ago), 10 perc 10's at a time for me to even feel anything and also I was using the older patches with the gel. There is no accurate way to measure the dosage that you'd get from any certain amount of the gel though which makes it even trickier as well as dangerous. The way I used to administer it though was to put a tiny dab on my pinky finger and rub it on the gumline, it absorbs well subbuccally. This was the only safe way I found to deal with the gel because anything larger than a tiny dab is risking taking too much, and that method allows you to take it little by little. I'm not recommending you try this certain method, I was just sharing my experience to help you because I know since you have it, you're going to take it one way or another, just please do not try and IV it, its much too strong of a drug to risk over doing it. Not to mention the fact there really isn't an effective way to measure a dose. Be safe my friend, Fentanyl is nothing to take lightly.

The gel will dry up quickly now that it's out of the patch so if you intend to try to use it you should do it soon.

^I told the OP this, but they are still deadset on using it... but they have basically destroyed the patch at this point so the only option is for subbuccal use. I find fentanyl is only good for staying out of pain and avoiding WD and not really for abuse. I wish I could feel 10 perc 10s... fuck that'd be nice. My tolerance is insane at this point and I still try to avoid using fentanyl unless its to avoid opana WD....

A friend of mine died 2 months ago with a patch in her mouth.. OP don't let it happen to you.
