Opioids fentanyl cut tastes like black licorice?

i have regular trusted source for my dope this batch tho , while still seemingly as potent as usual has a slight blac licorice taste when you smoke it .. it still does the trick.. im staying unsick as long as usual.. i was wondering if any one knows what cut this could be?
