Fentanyl behind the ear..

I hear behind the ear is a superior place to put fentanyl. Does this mean the whole patch or just a little bit of the gel. I am not looking to get high.. just to manage my pain... Any advice would be appretiated. Thanks in advance...

Also has anyone mad a nasal spray out of the gel?

re nasal spray -- I keep trying with the gel --- and just have such a hard time with breaking down the gel --- even with heat and shaking ... and other ideas ? -- anyone do anything special with the gel ones ? to make a real good nasal spray ---

any suggestions great --

been on wearing duragesic for almost 10 years now but it is a life savor for me --- yet id love to find a great way to make the nasal work better ? --
