I was just curious about something. I'm 30. I started shooting heroin 15 years ago when it was old school brown dope. Detox back then for it was cake after 24 hours start Subutex, and after 3 days your practically flushed. I was always under the impression that heroin/opiate withdrawal was relatively harmless, not physically dangerous like alcohol and benzos.
Fast forward 15 years I'm now using Xylazine laced Fentanyl because you can't even find old school for even if you wanted to which I would absolutely prefer because this new stuff is horrible, it's so bad I can't believe I let myself get caught up in it. Anyway I want to go to detox.
My question is I hear people talking about how they had seizures from fent/tranq withdrawal. Is there any proof or science behind this? From your guy's personal experience because I feel like I may have been having seizures, I also have constant tachycardia. Is withdrawal now something that could potentially be fatal or life threatening?
