Fentalyn paches - safe use

Complely ignorant about this, so thought I'd do the wise thing, and ask first and try later.

Was just given two Fenalyn patches from someone who doesn't like Opiates for the exchange of some benzos.

However, they completely confuse me, I've never seen anything like it before. They come in a large square paper envelope, and at the front it says :

Fentalyn
12 mikrogram/time
1 depot patch

1 depot patch contains 2, 063 mg Fentnyl. 1 patch give off 12, 5 mikrogram Fentanyl an hour (for 72 hours).

For use on the skin.


Tried to open it up, but didn't see anything inside. WTF is this? Any safe way to use or even any use of this?

Just some silver crap with some clear plastic bits in

So am I getting this right - is the Fentanyl patch the thin, transparant, plastic film stuck between the two sheets of the envelope?

Also, is 2,063 mg a dangerous dose for someone non-tolerant?

Want to try but don't want to overdose.

2,063mg is a dangerous dose for someone without tolerance. However they don't release all that at once...

12,5mcg/h you can use the patch safely without tolerance.
 
^assuming you're just putting it on, not eating it or anything stupid it should be safe. As long as its not the gel (there is nothing inside the patch) you should be able to cut it in half and try it.
 
Seemed useless to me, just like chewing some piece of cellophane. Are the Duralgic ones stronger?

Hmm. I take that back.

I "just" went into some kind of powerful, trippy opiate high and fell asleep all day. Suddenly it was night.

i am a 15yr opiate addict, i have been on MMT on as high as 180mgs, i have at other times been using over 1,000mg of morphine a day, over 500mg of oxy, over a gram of heroin a day habit-this is right around where my tolerance is. When i put on a 25mcg fentanyl patch, i have to end up taking it off after 12 hrs cause the shit is just so fucking potent, even with my tolerance i cant handle fentanyl, i tried chasing the gel off foil, didnt get high, i tried IVing it (half of a 25patch, used vinager) all i remember is putting the needle in my arm, and waking up the next morning freaked out..fentanyl is more of an opioid to put patients under for surgery, i dont find it euphoric at all, its way too strong
 
I have mixed experiences about Fentanyl. Used to "gum" the patches. The high is enjoyable, but cold. I also passed out while a part of a patch still being in my mouth. Really addictive, nearly killed me (and a LOT of people didn't get this lucky, alas...) . If I were using it again, I would take EXTRA care. Definitely not a drug to take lightly.
 
Fentanyl is an extremely potent pain killer. It is 100 times stronger than morphine. If its not used as directed (applied to you skin) then the risk of overdosing is very possible. Please use caution when ingesting, iving, or snorting these. Its hard to measure exactly how much you are using if your are not experienced in these methods. Please, please be careful.

so much for that.

next time, may want to use it as a patch, and not chew or "gum" it. That was pretty risky for a naive user.
 
fentanyl and butrans and transic. all the opioid pain patches. are a life safer when needed for chronic pain issues. good around the clock pain releif. my self i use 20mcg butrans. fentanyl 0.1mg =10mg morphine. butrans and transic same drug, butrans 7 days and transic 3.5 days. 0.3mg = 10mg morphine. as say should be used for chronic pain. for pleasure to many people have died or OD on them. then sadly the drug gets a bad name for its self. hope i have they measures right. fentanyl is 100 times stronger than morphine. and buprenorphine is 30 times stronger than morphine.
