Felt ZAPPED for the first time

So a couple weeks ago during an event I had a very different experience with Molly. I had caps that were bigger than .1 because my friend capped them, so not sure on exact doses, but what I did was pop 1.5 which make me crazy good. A few hours later when I started feeling more relaxed I took one more, which put me back to good level...but then I started to feel suuuuper mellow. Not bad, but not in the mood for dancing, until I walked towards the stage again and had another great hour. But it was all downhill after that. I was feeling tired, and note it was very cold out I was not having a good time anymore. I actually wanted to leave early which was a first for me, and all I could think was how my brain just felt fried. Not terrible but just like I did not want to do anything. I had very minor headaches that lasted the next couple days but have been fine since.
I'm wondering did I just take too much? The weird thing is I was with friends who were more and less experienced than me, and lighter and heavier than me who all took more but no one felt the same way I did. Could it have been something other than Molly or just too much? Just trying to avoid this from happening next time.

Could possibly be a tolerance issues... I had the same happen to me last times. Or it could be a lack of serotonin. Space out your rolls by at least by 4weeks, otherwise you'll grow a tolerance faster.

well i know that 1.5 is more then a big dose, so that could be the problem there. MDMA is also quite neurotoxic, so your brain doing that could be trying to tell you something. how often do you roll and did you test it?

that actually sounds pretty normal to me. as i understand it, you took a medium-high dose (>=150mg) and then redosed (again >=100), which brought you up again, but didn't last long and brought you to a mongy chilled state instead of an energetic one. then you started to come down, feeling tired, cold and drained.
that all is exactly how i remember most of my nights out on mdma. if you don't want to get into the "relaxed" state or feel the comdown like that you'll have to reduce your dose and keep your redosing to one little booster. of course it depends on body weight and tolerance, but i (62kg) find 110mg and a booster of 50mg to be ideal. to be sure you could also skip the booster alltogether.

it's also worth noting that with mdma (just like with other stimulants), comdowns get worse and worse the more you use it. ime not only if you take more in a short peroid of time (although this of course can contribute too), but it appears to be cumulative. the first few times i took mdma, i didn't get much of a comedown at all, but after the 15th time or so (usage not more often than every 2 months), the comedown was pretty uncomfortable until i got a good night of sleep.

Yeah I really think I just took more than needed. I just thought I would be OK because even though it was more than I normally take I am a fit 205 lbs and thought I could handle it. I just don't get how some of my friends can take so much more and don't experience this type of comedown!
Next time it will have been six weeks between rolls. Sucks because I am around people who do it 2-3 times a week! So tempting but I know it's so bad I do my best to stay away.

I got the same thing. The first time I took MDMA was a pill I got that was said to be 150mg when it actually had 300mg and I took the whole thing... Starting at the comedown and ending a few days later, I had random brain zaps that felt like a piercing headache deep inside my brain.

It definitely has to do with lack of serotonin IMO. I've experienced this feeling when consuming a high initial dose of MDMA and continuing to redose throughout the night at a rave and had ODed just three weeks prior to the rave. Continue to use abstinence for one to three months (or more) at a time and you should be golden as long as you dose properly!
