Feening/Craving - what makes YOU feen?

Feen:

Used by people who listen to other people who have no idea what they are talking about. At some point, I assume somewhere between Generation X and Y someone overheard a word being used and misinterpreted it. Now legions of people born after 1977 are saying the word "feen". The word used which they misheard is FIEND, defined as a person who is craving something in a maniacle way.

While I appreciate everyones input on the proper use of the word "feen/fiend", that was not the purpose of this thread.

I know it can be extremely difficult to understand other peoples ways of talking, especially when there are GIGANTIC differences, like, for example, two letters of the word being different.

Really guys - how should I have expected anyone to be able to understand such a obscure, strange, foreign word? I mean......this aint something like someone misusing "their" and "they're." And we all know how THAT one can sure throw a wrench into our reading comprehension. "Well, we went to her house, and their all smokin weed and... Wait - WHAT? "THEIR?" WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN?? CRAP! NOW I HAVE TO READ THE SENTENCE ALL OVER AGAIN!"

Good lord, i might as well have said "elephant" instead of "feen", for all the sense it makes. I should have known that surely no one could ever make the connection between "fiend" and "feen". For this, i sincerely apologize for completely confusing everyone.

This was a unspeakable infraction, all i can ask is for forgiveness, and that the rest of the posters can continue on posting ON TOPIC in this thread, without my intelecually crippled input . TIA. :)

I'd recommend you increase your intake to three blunts a day so you can avoid typical drug nerd douchness exemplified by your posts.

EDIT: lightbulbs just laying around immediately make me think of getting a fat 20 shard and getting spizzzzzed
 
Oh, by no means am I confused as to what lacey k intended to express with the word "feen". It just pisses me off when people decide to adapt english to their own derisory, obnoxious ideals.

Grammar Nazi... definetely. Why does our society (or lack thereof) feel the need to invent absurd slang when the english language has thousands of suitable and appropriate words?

Browsing BL forums and hearing about how X person is fucked up beyond belief on the drug that I wish I had but can't find.
 
I been very nice about it before, but now this shit is just fuckin ridiculous. I reported the off topic posts in here that are startin shit so that hopefully a mod can come in here and remove those posts (inclusing the posts i made responding to those people.)

Whenever I'm about to go somehwere where there's a shit load of people, I get this feeling that I will die if I don't have a vicodin. I get over it, but that's only becaues I have to. If I'm about to go to a bar, same thing, because I hate alcohol without opiates.

And if I have some benzos, it makes me fiend twice as bad for fucking opiates.... My real doc is dilaudid but I can't ever fucking get any so I try not to think about it, but jesus here I go... I'm about to have to go out and I don't have a damn thing to take with me. :\
 
lacey - nothing was done about your reported posts because there was nothing within that post that was breaking guidelines. I cannot punish someone over a non-existant rule, when they are simply trying to argue with you.

however, the off-topicness (there, I made up a word too you grammar Nazis ;)) of this thread is getting out of hand. I don't care if you agree on her slang of "fiend," I'm sure since you guys are so smart that you know it's not a word, that you know what she actually meant.

The only thing i really feind for even slightly these days is nangs(nitrous) if i have one, i immediately want another...but then again after about fifteen i wanna leave that shit alone, the ringing in my ears drives me insane.

Dont you hate how most of the time when you really feen for something, and you DO get your hands on it, afterwards you feel like its too much and you never wanna do it again?

At least thas how it is for me....if im just like "aight cool i got some Oc's" then its all gravy. but if im feenin and i get ahold of em and do em, after i feel sick like......all i wanna do is smoke some weed, fuck that shit.
