Feeling very bloated on Xanax (is this a normal side effect)?

I am treated for Xanax (1mg per day) for my panic attacks and I am started to realize that once I am on it, it makes me bloated, and I am having abdominal pains, and gas.

So my question is, whoever on here is being treated on Xanax, please share your inputs if you have the same issues as I explained above.

Once I was off of it, the bloatness and gas diminished over time.

my friend actually called me last night asking if valium causes your stomach to feel unsettled. I told him that that sounds very foreign to me and i wouldn't blame the drugs, but im thinking that maybe can? Are you asian?
