Feeling sick from Oxy

I used to take Oxy with a friend and it would hardly effect me. I only had one experience where I took a 40 all at once got really sick.
I had pain today from a severe kidney infection, bruised hips, stiff joints and a sprained wrist. I didn't know how I was going to get through work waiting tables with all that. (Also if you are quiet or the pain or any other negative emotion shows on your face you don't get tips...) So a friend gave me some oxy 20s. I ate one before work at 12:00pm. But around 3:00pm I started to feel very nauseous, shakey and having cold sweats. I just told everyone it was a prescribed med I was not used to and I came home with more tips than usual and produced several "excellent" comment cards. I came home and smoked some marijuana thinking it would keep me from throwing up but it also made me even higher and it isn't fun anymore. I now feel like I'm going to throw up again and I'm afraid the marijuana will make it worse.
Is it best to smoke?
Sleep?
Eat something?

I haven't taken ANY painkillers in months and months...

So should I cut the dose in half next time?
I ate it, that is the best way right?

Yeah, you may want to take just half next time and see how that works for you. Although I wonder if opiates are really for you. If you took 40mg and just got sick maybe your sort of immune to its positive effects. Some people are. My mother and sister just get sick and drowsy when they take pain killers, even at low doses.

This ^ You can always take more if needed but you can never less if you did all of it. Once you find the dose right for you, stay with it and adjust for inflation of tolerance. Try not to get hooked if you already aren't

With that in mind Fad we have decided to squirrel away the pills for a rainy day in which they are needed to treat severe pain without a visit to the Dr. :)
No reason to go getting hooked on shit again.
