Yesterday I drank a significant although not unusual amount of poppy seed tea around noon time. Four hours later (~4PM), I decided to take 1200 mg of cimetidine and drank some more tea. Got high, took some clonidine, and went to bed around 1 AM. When I woke up around 11AM I was really quite high, and my pupils were still pinned. Surprising, but given the tagemet I took I can understand. Worked for a bit, took a nap, woke up and did some more work.
Anyway, it's 11:30 PM, over 30 hours since I last took any opiate. And it's starting to kick in again. Not that I mind, but what the hell? How is this possible? Does cimetidine really inhibit metabolization this much? My pupils aren't pinned but they are still noticeably constricted, and I still have physical buzz going. This has never happened to me before. Is it typical for cimetidine + morphine to last this long?
This makes me wonder how long a morphine high could be extended if tagamet is taken multiple times throughout the high instead of just once. Or maybe clonidine also inhibits metabolization (although I doubt it).
