Well, ideally all drug should make people feel that way and we'd have a lot less problems in this respect.^^
Not that you would care after 3 years, but plenty of people experience these comedowns after using amphetamine. There's three ways to go about this: Learn to live with it, take more or stop taking the stuff. :D
It might also be an issue of set and setting. After I had already been occasionally using cocaine for 8 years, I realized it's not ALWAYS hell on earth after the first 20 minutes. If I actually hang out with a really good friend and have a good time with him it's possible to come down very smooth and gradually without that insane craving. I never knew because everytime I did coke I was with shitheads (cause no way in fucking hell I would've paid for that shit). Therefore, all that energy was wasted on idiotic conversations about drugs and who fucked up whom and how ballsy and manly everyone is and no one would let the other talk, you get the idea - Cokehead conversations.
