Really wanna get in touch with the psychedelic community because I come from a place where virtually no one knows about this stuff. It's quite hard for my people to imagine that this kind of community exists... a community that is comprised of many members across the globe sharing drug use and mystical experiences so openly and respectfully, because all my people care about is money and pokemon. I'm not exaggerating but maybe it's also hard for the rest of the world to imagine how my home city is entirely driven by commercial activities, embracing only commercial values that lead to other heavily twisted values. With little or no respect for arts, music, science, nature, academics etc, but quite obedient to the government and authoritative institutions, I'm surrounded by a crowd of crazy nuts dying for things that are possibly the least real.
For example, while worldwide use of cannabis has come so far to its legalization today, most of my fellas still hold irrationally conservative view towards the herb...not to say psychedelic substances.
A little background of myself: "well-educated" but failed to fit in this society, I became extremely depressed and suicidal. Giving myself one last chance, I figured a way to obtain psychedelics (it's not something you can easily get from street here). And here I am. It saved my life. Since then, I've decided to dedicated my life to this powerful substance in terms of getting back to school for research and academic/scientific contribution. To prepare myself for this, I know I have to gain a wide range knowledge, personal experiences and insights about psychedelics-related subjects.
I don't have many tripping experiences yet and reading books is not enough. I'm mostly impeded by limited deep conversation on this issues. I know I have to reach out, which is why I sign up here...I'm here to learn! Really look forward to anyone PM-ing or adopting me or whatever method to get connected with me!
