Feel like I am going through withdrawal

I concluded that I need to lose about 15 pounds. I can do it by sustaining my physical workout and cutting back calories. I discovered that I am not hungry most of the time but have a need to eat. Normally, I would eat granola bars but now I eat fresh peas. I limit my calorie intake to 1200 per day except on the weekends where I allow myself to have about 3000. I am on day 2 and it feels like I am on drug withdrawal. Instead of thinking about my next high, I think about the sweet taste of granola bars or whatever. Again, I am not hungry per se but have cravings. Do these cravings go away?

What I can say is that our bodies will crave what it got used to, so if your body is used to eating sweets at certain amount then it will crave that. The cravings will go away if you get your appetite used to not eating those bars it might take about a month or so I'd say before it goes away.

1200 kCal / day is really meager, below what is sustainable for even small adult women. I would increase this and add in an exercise program (including opulent cardio), allowing you to eat amounts that you're more used to. Why are you over doubling your caloric intake on weekends? Getting drunk as fuck? :P

I try to eat as little as possible. I do not factor fruits or veggies though. Today I had chicken breasts (400 calories) and tons of gea peas. That filled me up until the evening and that was after running 2 miles, biking 4 miles and weight training. I did add some granola bars (400). And actually, I don't drink but I do enjoy cookies!

It's a marathon, not a sprint. You're setting yourself up for a crash, imo.

My diet is becoming more of a habit. Not to say I don't have temptations. I started out weighing 190lbs on Monday and got down to 182 today.
