Feds: Biggest heroin bust in Buffalo History

the dope I used to score off these guys claiming to be latin kings in buffalo always left much to be desired when it came to the fire in new jersey
 
^ That's because Jersey is actually the dope capital of the USA. There was an article a while back that actually showed that NJ had the purest dope in the USA.
 
oh yeah I know, I think that's been reprinted a few times, they win the dope purity war like every year. Ever since those days I can almost tell the purity of stuff just by how strongly it smells like jersey stuff, the less that smell is present, the more it's been cut. System is surprisingly accurate.

You talk as if the cops were doing something else besides breaking up a major heroin ring, this would somehow help the economy? No matter what the cops focus on, it has no effect positive or negative on creating jobs.

I for one appluad the police for stopping these heroin dealers. That shit is illegal for a good reason, unlike a handful of other drugs

for real tho, some good lol'z there. Arrest the dealers, we all know that stops kids from getting addicted to heroin...Since, you know, its the fault of the dealers, and the drug itself, for addicting those helpless kids.

I've always thought of buffalo as more of a coke city, but obviously there must have been a market there for h.

Nevertheless, I talked to someone at the street level the same night this went down and he acted surprised to hear about it -- I don't know if it will affect him or not in roc. But all in all I'm surprised to learn that this stuff in buffalo was high-quality (someone correct me if I'm wrong about that), because everything in roc has been crap -- havent had consistent good stuff since early 2000's. Personally, I'm surprised the stuff wasnt 60% vtamin B or whatever else they cut it with.
 
It`s times like this that I`m glad that I`m off the skag(and have been for about 5+ years). I would have been shitting bricks watching all my regular hook ups either drying up or jacking up the price.
But this bust won`t stop anyone from scoring H for long. Hell,From the time of the first post to me writing this I`m sure new trade routes and distros have been set up and things are back to normal.
My de facto little brother is still a MASSIVE heroin addict living out on the streets(here in Buffalo) cause he keeps getting booted from rehabs and half way homes. Every time I see or talk to him he`s smacked out of his mind. That "Mega" bust isn`t stopping him from getting high.
In reality drug busts change nothing for long. It`s only the politicians and old folks who believe this makes the world a better place.
 
The dope market upstate was rough when I was living up there (not as far north though), but almost all of it was coming up from N.Y.C. in relatively small consignments, and about doubled in price for the trouble of the people who were bringing it up. This is a pretty damn big amount in comparison. But somehow I doubt that it will change much market wise. Most of the people in rural upstate N.Y. who I know were doing dope were getting it from people who were bringing it up from Wash. Heights & the Bx. downstate. The traffickers would get busted fairly frequently, but it was a revolving door and they were interchangeable to the people behind them. The trade was very lucrative and the mostly young Hispanic kids made a lot of loot but about once a year there would be a major bust and everyone would get locked up, but within a week or two everything would be in it's right place once again, but usually the price would be inflated a bit and the quality would go down, sometimes these changes would last for a while. I imagine the effects of this bust are gonna be mostly the same, albeit on a larger scale. There's always someone waiting in the wings ...
 
i was in rehab with a guy from buffalo and he said the dope up there was a crap shoot, but he did say the coke was always good, but who cares about that shit lol
