Yeah I feel too old for clubs too, Fabric was awesome when I was 19-22, went there every friday for two years, it was brilliant. These days I'd much rather sit at the pub and watch sports, don't mind raving if it's somewhere with a nice friendly vibe like pystrance parties, can't deal with cunts that much anymore.

I'm in for the detox too, I've been drinking silly amounts lately, like really stupid and most of it has been with you guys(8), I've been eating shit as well, burgers and hot dogs and chips, nothing green in a while. I even started smoking again, hadn't had a fag in like two years and now I'm on almost a pack a day, fuck.
 
That's a tragic waste of not smoking effort! Think of all the money you've saved that your now spending again tut tut...

I can feel a Detox Thread coming up.

Well at least I'm feeling guilty about it, which is a start I guess. If I manage to stay off the booze I'll have no problem not buying any more cigarettes. I know about the price thing, 11 dollars a pack!
 
this is the third night of a massive meph binge, was just trying to test the quality of one small line and then go to work but ended up going through a hell of a lot, when I only managed to bring about 5g round here tonight I knew I'd gone mad, I reckon I have about a g and a half at home though. Shame I wasted it so quickly, well only because of the work issues, it was fucking great =D

just sat in in last night and smoked a few joints which was nice since i never smoke during the week anymore. Today il be having a chilling session with a few mates with some 2c-e and nice weed :) its the last of my stash so hopefully il take a break from psychs and stims for a while once its gone!

Where are you that you've developed such a tollerance? I always though ketamine was only really available in the UK and Holland/Germany out of Europe.

I did 1,5g last night over a period of 8 hours, bumping all the night. 1g of md, the comedown will be brutal..

It could all have been so different. Perhaps if Lawrence hadn't taken LSD before a Felt gig packed with major label talent scouts, then made the venue turn all the lights off and tried to stop the guitarist from playing mid-song. Perhaps if the NME had put them on the cover instead of opting for a feature on the suicide rate among teenagers. Perhaps if Denim's 1997 single Summer Smash hadn't been pulled from sale for fear its title would offend listeners in the wake of Princess Diana's death. Perhaps if the producers of Saturday morning pop show CD:UK had gone for Lawrence's admittedly literal idea to promote Go Kart Mozart by appearing on the show dressed as the late composer, singing while driving a golf kart. Perhaps not.

Not saying I agree with his essentialism or this particular sentiment, but empirical evidence (exes, friends) tells me it's certainly common.

Not many women I know bought the PINS EP, for example. Go on, get yer digs in. ;)

The above quote only stands for heterosexual women by the way, as it's a well-known fact (and not also totally essentialist from t'other side of the ideological scale) that lesbians generally have excellent taste in female musicians. Again, experience tells me this is generally the case.

I liked Bis mainly cause I thought Amanda was fucking hot and understated, and they were cute indie pop without an angle or an annoying attitude.

Both Shampoo and Bis were manufactured but I'd take the latter over 2 manufactured naughty schoolgirls.

Your friend needs to stop trying to play females against one another to compensate for his shortcomings.

I used to adore Miki Berenyi from Lush, and she's pretty much the definition of being sexually threatening.
