Fear of morphine dooms third world poor to die painfully

well this article really depressed me. i cannot believe the US consumes 17,000 TIMES as much opioids than ierra Leone and that six countries consume basically 80% of the opioids used in the world. it's incredible. and i can't believe that some countries dont allow any morphine. its shocking and inhumane.

and i'm sure the leaders and/or wealthy people in the even the poorest third world countries are getting what they need one way or another...its sickening that laws are standing between people in horrible pain and the best and only relief they can get besides death (which, as the article says, many end up doing because the pain is so unbearable).
 
Well its only human to want massive numbers of poor people to die. Perfectly rational sociobiological response in overpopulated species'.
