As far as I know, there are no brands of pseudoephedrine currently available which can be used to make meth. All the brands contain an ingredient which makes the p-ephed unextractable and fucks up the reaction.
Thus, as synthetic ephedrine is unavailable, chemists are turning to plant sources for ephedrine -- i.e. ephedra/ma huang. The extraction is a bitch but at least it is possible -- unlike extracting from american p-ephed pills.

So lets make margarine illegal because some people eat too much and die from a heart attack.

Whatever. I hate this "dangers of supplements" talk. They need to show statistics and compare to things like lightening strikes, electrocutions, and car accidents. And who the fuck is "public citizen". These advocy groups don't speak for me. I should be able to decide if I want to take risks or not.
