FDA Approves Trial Use of MDMA for Iraq Veterans with PTSD

I think it's a great idea. I actually was welcomed to come volunteer with marine corp vets anytime I'd like, because of my psychology background. I'd even spoken to a few family Dr's on their thoughts of mdma for post-traumatic stress :) I think it's awesome.
 
Great to hear...MDMA has a lot of potential to help people if used properly :)

It kinda concerns me though because this is big news IMO but this article is the only one I have found on the net about it. I couldn't even find one on the maps website (maybe I missed it)

I just figured there would be more of a big deal made about it in the media. god knows the first time a pacient in the trial has a bad reaction or (god forid) croaks durring the trial they will be all over it deomnizing the FDA and MAPS for taking an illegal drug andd trying to help people.
 
The media is just too concerned with Tiger Woods and the general fucked-up state of things at the moment. Or maybe things are always that way and I'm just old enough to realize it.

Either way, here's to hoping for positive results from these trials.
