This is really is my favorite track of all time, period. You may listen to it and think its nothing more then a bit of a remix of an old Marley track, and in a literal sence you would be right.

But this ws the track that was always played at the end (usually about 12pm!) of the free parties the Exodus Collective ran from '92-2000 in and around Luton. They ran these free parties every 2 weeks pretty consistantly over that time and i must of only missed 3 or 4 at most....it was my life for many years.

It still makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck stand up and I can feel a rush even though I havent done MDXX in over 10years ,IMO they where the best parties of there time :-

The top link has has better audio quality the second is a view from a camera phone of an actual party, I bit of rummaging round Youtube will show you the documentry made about them and another chnannel 4 program where they featured as well as a whole load of live sets.

Bob Marley and The Wailers - Exodus(Kindread Spirit Mix Edit)

Bob Marley - Exodus [Kindread Spirit Remix]

when this track started, bearing in mind no parties finished before 11am, everyone rushed in and gave it everthing they had...people seemeed to have alot of energy despite haviong been up all night ...=D

in some articles that i read track and the fact that it got some main steam playing it is said to have started the acid house party backlash that resultted in the Criminla Justice Bill that tried to stop such events.

Whilst I'm quite fan of the earlier acid house stuff, people forget that thses where pay partis £25 at least to get bin as far as I've been told and just not the same to the free parrt scene that grew up in the early 90's.

I believe the guy that ran Labyrnth used to run acid house parties until it all licked off and gangsters started to to and move in and take over "business".

Anyhow I'm rambling as I try and cool down after riding myscooter home in this heat and humidity, my first offering of the evening, I'm giving you the original although the '93 remix was also a good effort:-
