Favorite one-line in a song

I have to risk it... alone it keeps me safe and in my home
I have to use it... to keep me satisfied until im gone
Dont regret the rules I broke, When I die bury me in smoke

Much more than a single line...but
"If you didn't care what happened to me,
And I didn't care for you,
We would zig zag our way through the boredom and pain
Occasionally glancing up through the rain.
Wondering which of the buggars to blame
And watching for pigs on the wing."

cause lately I've been thinking of combustication
as a welcome vacation from
the burdens of
the planet Earth.
like gravity, hypocrisy,
and the perils of being in 3-D...
but thinking so much differently.

Incubus - Pardon Me

Tirelessly on the phone trying to russle up, muscle relaxers
For his back, and a couple of Paxils, now he's doubling backwards
And he's stumbling back, slipped and fell, hit his back bone
Heard something go *crack*, Now he's up in the bathroom
Like he's busting a nap

You don't understand
I don't give a fuck
This is not a game
We fight to the death
I was lost
Now I'm born again
Don't bury me
I'm not ded yet

Not quite a single line but its one of my favorites

"Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain
You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you where to run, you missed the starting gun"

there is this throwaway bob dylan outtake on the first bootleg series box set called "walkin' do9wn the line" where he sings

the money comes and goes and rolls and flows and rolls and flows through the pockets of my clothes

and it's enough to send me into near-hysterics every time. the rhythm, the inflection is so perfect. he might have a terrible voice, but he is/was sometimes a great singer.

The inflection is what I love most about GOOD hiphop. It takes a certain skill to be able to play with words in such a way, and to make two words that don't rhyme on paper sound like they rhyme when they come out of your mouth. It's really a beautiful thing. <3

"Repugnant is a creature who would squander the ability
To lift an eye to heaven, conscious of his fleeting time here."
