I have this thing against brown alcohol. I'm conditioned against whiskey and rum and such because of a certain incident a couple of years ago.
though if I'm drunk enough and someone hands me a random drink, I'll drink it. hell, I'll even smoke pot.
...however those nights usually result in mornings where I wake in my own bed and wonder how I actually got there.
As a side note, a co-worker of mine had a party on the lower east side of manhattan (his place). We ran out of mixers, so there was just hard liquor. Everyone that attended got enormously trashed. my manager decided to walk home (to somewhere in the 60's), making it well over 90 or so blocks.
She fell asleep in the middle of the sidewalk somewhere. At some point a passing ambulance picked her up and brought her to a hospital.
talk about being an alcoholic.
