Favorite Lights?

Im in alabama they only had one type of astro jax the Saturn (blue ones), but i don't know if they have them anymore i got mine back in December i stole em =) good ol' spencers it wouldn't be the same if u didnt steal from there every once and a while. I dont know why they wouldnt still have them but i dont know we are on opposite sides of the country basically

If you can find a target anywhere, they generally always have white and blue inovas.

Forgive a naive European, but what the hell is this thread about?!

LED lights are fun when rolling, light shows are awesome. Good for raves.

Just a thread about peoples preferences as far as which lights they like....

actually what am i thinking, fuck flowlights or inova's get a glove set!

Put the iNovas in a glove duh o.o
full glovest wit invoas is pretty dam expensive $80+, although i got cheap ultra bright tearz glove set wanting to move up to inovas soon the lights in the first video are rav'ns they are discontinued and cost $50+ a light only available from people who have prepurchased them
the other rgb lights the other guy was talking about are available as inovas what you do is buy rbg tearz dropz take out the bulb and put in inova casing, almost same as rav'n
or there are websites that sell modified inovas
although the glove set is quite useless unless theres someone who can give you a light show wit them

across the pond we americans love light shows whilst rolling. i've noticed when watching youtube vids of awesome european raves that there are usually very little to no lights in the crowd. the lighting of the raves themselves in europe seems mind blowing anyway, more so then raves in the US, so lights aren't really needed. why are lights not used much in europe? nothing like a personal lightshow from an expert. another way to bond with a person while rolling. =D

LEDs, oribits (keychain lights), poi, Flowlights. All awesome toys for enhancing
the experience. Glowsticks are still the old standard.

the laserpods look sick for some staying at home rolling.

I loves mah Laserpod Galaxy. Great especially on the blissful comedown.
Good deals on ebay..

IMO glowsticks are becoming obsolete, considering all of the new toys + lights coming out nowadays.

One thing glowsticks will always have that these toys + lights will never have is an awesome price. =)

Get a pack of like, 10-12 at the dollar store! :)

I love my microlights! They are fun in gloves, and sometimes more fun without them! But when I do use my gloves I have 7 light strobe inovas on my thumbs, 1 red, green and blue, and the other purple green and orange. And I have 2 inova rainbow shifters for both my palms. And 8 microlights, 4 pink, orange and greens, all with different effects and 4 red green and blues with the same effects as the other ones. So my corresponding fingers have opposite colors with the same effects. It makes for some trippy shit. It was hella expensive though! Quite an investment!

another fan of good old fashioned glowsticks here

why?

1) you can stick them in your pockets when not using them, and dont have to worry about them breaking or dealing with taking gloves off

2) you can throw them around and do juggling tricks with them, and if you're too fucked up to catch them properly, they're too light (lol) to hurt anybody, and durable

3) if you see someone without lights, you can give them away without feeling like you've just wasted $20+

i'm not a kandi kid, never was, never will be....i trade people lights!!!

Glowsticks have the added benefit of fading with people's enthusiasm. By the end of the night, the glowsticks are as tired as everyone else, but microlights are still generally going strong. 8)

Just kidding. I like gloves mostly because I have aspirations of learning how to liquid (someday...) I've been partial to my RGB strobe set (har har) with a pair of purple "tracer" lights on my thumbs. They're all Inovas too, which I've found to be the longest lasting/most durable of the microlights.

I do like the fact that you don't have to flip out when you realize that you've misplaced your glowsticks, whereas with gloves... :!

Some of the best lights I've found are cheap kid's toys at dollar stores. Or these LED sticks I found at the Calendar Store (and got a great deal on them since the season was over!) They're just white foam sticks with LEDs in them and have a RGB strobe mode, a fade mode then separate red, green and blue blinking modes. Twirl them around like a baton and it always attracts a crowd!

And then there's this bouncy ball I found at a rave once that has a RGB strobe when you hit it. And glitter! So pretty!

I love Inovas, they just get in the way because they are too big, which is why I put them on my palm and thumbs
