This is a hard one. I like most of them. But I think it comes down to Sopranos. I don't think there's a show out there I like more.

The first season of the wire was awesome, but then they didnt really advertise the second one at all. so i missed it in entirety. I think the sopranos has fallen off hardcore, deadwood has promise, but i stopped watching that as well.

I live in baltimore so i can relate to the stories, and know the area. I can look at the screen and tell if they are on the west side, east side or in the suburbs and witch one.
Thats pretty neet
 
While we don't get HBO in Australia I am a huge fan of 'Curb your enthuiasm' It definitly gets my vote. Aust. television played about 5 episodes here on monday night on midnight and then it disappeared. Best show on TV in my opinion.
 
curb is great.... but so many factors such as sex and the city endinging, the wait for the sapranos....
cannot pick.
 
Deadwood, Sopranos, The Wire.

I don't see the appeal of Carnivale, at all. I was all thrilled when I thought we'd get a taste of carnie justice...and that scene was the lamest. No fun carnie justice...just carnies looking retarded walking a cart around some asshole. Bleh.

i've only seen one "the wire" episode but i forsee myself getting addicted to that sometime in the future.
 
My favorites are Sex in the City, Curb your Enthusiasm and Carnivale. But I haven't seen a lot of the others because who has the time to watch them all?

HBO is the BEST channel imho. I need to get it back (right now I have showtime (which isn't nearly as good).
