Favorite Futurama episode?

The Devils Hands are Idle Playthings - popped into my head as soon as i read the thread title.

and the one when everyone on earth gets a $300 tax rebate, and fry decides to get 100 coffee's. it's just that scene at the end where he saves everyone. too funny.

The first episode was pretty good too.
After living through the sucide booth fry asks bender why he wanted to kill himself.
Bender tells him he couldn't keep living after he found outwhat the gurters he was bending built - suicide booths.

The one about Fry's dog is pretty good. The ending always gets me -- you know, when Fry says his dog forgot about him a long time ago, and then they show that montage of the dog waiting his whole life for Fry to come back to the pizza joint and get him. And that sad song! That episode actually makes me cry!
Sorry to labour the point... but yeah, that episode sticks out.

It's not the funniest, but it's a pretty real and emotional ending. The same also applies to the "four leaf clover" episode (I forget the name)... just a real heartstring tugger. Love it!

Any episode with copious Morgo scenes is usually good... "Puny humans!!!"

Very underated and underapreciated series. I always thought the writing was clever and funny. I was pissed off at Fox for not giving it the time slot it deserved, all the while they keep King of the Hill on (shakes head). I was happy to see that, if I remember right, the Cartoon Network has ordered up new episodes of Futurama. Look foward to seeing them when/if they actually get to production.

I really hate defending Fox because I love Futurama as much as the next guy but I think one of the reasons it was canned was because the cost of the computer graphics was getting too expensive? Don't quote me on it... but I've heard that from a couple people.

^^ ^_^ yes because what is basically a flash animation is much more expensive then hand drawn, frame by frame animation. :P

the rumor i heard and believe is that Fox didn't want the Simpsons to get old... it's become like Micky Mouse and they wan't to keep it around forever. hell, you still got all of maggies life to experience... milk it! So, in between it's bad time slots, and the rule that if it didn't rival the simpsons ratings it would get canceled, fox managed to secure another five seasons of the simpsons, now totalling four hundred and twenty seven possible seasons. there is a claus in the contract stating that if matt groining's arms, toes and jaw are lost in some horrific accident he can leave, but otherwise... lets just think about walt disney again...

All of them. Especially the one where bender gets addicted to 'jacking on' and goes to robot hell. Favorite quote ?

"A superpower drug that you can rub on your skin?!? Wow! You'd think it would have to be freebased..." - Fry

farnsworth parabox
alls well that ends well
the devils hands are idle play things
jarassic bark

But I love the whole series, I own all the seasons and movies out.

genious show.

The one where Fry gets his dog's fossil back. The end scene is so sad :~(

they reference that episode in the first movie, revealing that it was bender who did that do his dog.

-i'll always remember you, fry.. MEMORY DELETED!

-DON'T DATE ROBOTS!
