Morphine, Oxy or DHC are amazing- don’t feel one bit sick, can get on with the day
If you need to work…for sure opioids.

If you’re free to rest at home I’d pick benzos over opiates.

Currently sick and trying to just sleep through the entire sickness using benzos to sleep like 18 hrs a day. Will this work ?

My favorite drugs are my favorite for a reason. It's medicine.

H, Morphine, Opium, Codeine and hash (edible)

Benzos is a runner up but no benzo can contend with a poppy.

Well I started this post because I am sick.

Although opiates are the best for actually making me feel unsick a little bit…..I’ve found that I am going for benzos over opiates.

Plan is to just sleep through the whole sickness and benzos put me to sleep better than opiates

Opiates. They even prescribe them for it.
Key is to take a therapeutic dose. You don't really get high, but you feel almost normal. And I do think it helps you fight it.

It's interesting, I have read that tianeptine is used as an antidepressant in some countries, whereas it is illegal for that here in the US, though it's widely available as Zaza ( so-called "gas station heroin") in the US. I've never tried it myself and it sounds like it can be pretty fiendish as something to get high on. Sounds better to avoid it but I'm curious about it low dose as an antidepressant

I believe it was none other than Keith Richards who noted that heroin entirely suppresses the symptoms of the common cold.

What I suspect he hadn't noted is that a lot of opioid users die because they develop pneumonia but it's only when they are gasping for breathe that they realize they are in fact ill.

I've seen it happen.

Do they sell this in califnora. I want some.

If we can’t have real heroin…gas station heroin it is.

I won’t do it willongling but good to know if I get screwed by the doctor or pharmacy and go into withdrawl.
That I'm not sure about that. I've never seen it, even in smoke shops and such that sell kratom, but I've never looked hard for it. I am curious, though

today i have been feeling sick and all i wanted was to sleep.
all i took was 600mg ibuprofen.
everything else would have been a waste

Why do they get pneumonia from smoking it or IV?

Because opioids suppress the cough reflex and being analgesics tend to hide the other symptoms of the common cold.

Opioids even hide the breathlessness and are used in COPD to treat this symptom so it's only when people simply cannot get sufficient oxygen to walk that they realize they are ill. By then it's often too late.

It's a shock to see someone in there 20s go from walking to dead in the space of five minutes, but that's what happened. The coroners inquest highlighted the specific cause of death.

Well the references to the use of opioids are all from US based groups, but do bear in mind that it's indicated as symptomatic treatment for advanced BOPD so I would expect it to be for people in hospital and who are only going to leave hospital in a box.

I don't know if in-patient medication differs in the US, but here in the UK they DO treat palliative care as a special category. It doesn't matter if someone becomes a dope-fiend if they will die in the next few months.

it does here.

There was a woman with fatal 3rd degree burns over her entire body and they didn’t give her any pain meds because she was a known drug addict.

died in the ER of burns completely unmedicated.

No wonder there is a fentanyl epidemic. I suppose ANYOONE in severe pain is now a potential customer for the dealers.

In the UK it seems oxycodone is favoured at the moment (but it changes every few years). The BNF suggests that a maximum of 400mg/day is the maximum but adds that some patients may require more. Although not written down, that's for dying people. We still use diamorphine (heroin) as the ultimate treatment for 'unacceptable human suffering' which, again, means people about to die.
