Favorite/ Best cheap beer?

Overseas; Hoegaarden White, Leffe Blonde, Aventinus Doppel-Bock, Nastro Azzurro Gran Riserva for a serious, sip not glup, taste based beer over dinner. Kingfisher Lager, Grolsch, DAB, Asahi or even a Stella for a big night on the piss.

Australian; James Squire India Pale Ale, Little Creatures Pale Ale, Redback Original, Cascade Premium, James Boags Premium, Blue Tounge Lager, Coopers Sparkling Ale and Hahn Premium are all great beers. My favourate is Coopers Pale Ale, and although there are some very good brews all over the world, for sheer drinking pleasure this beer is as good as it gets.

^Yeah, Coopers pale ale has always been my fav commercial beer.

Usually I'll just order a Corona...

However everytime a friend or family member goes to another counrty I have them bring me back a can of pop, beer, whatever.. I have a stupid little collection of foreign beverages.... Anyway, my friend visited China for a class and she brought back some "Laoshan Beer"...and its PRETTY GOOD! :)

oh my favortie topic!!

recommending a good brew would really depend on your tastes. do you like the stouts, pale ales or the dark lager, light yagers, prefer the bitterness or fruity or a good blend....

imo the best easy to find beer would be sierra nevada pale ale. Blue moon belgian is a good one too, i think...like the above poster said.

I looooove a good stout. guinness extra stout is a good one and very easy to find

anheiser busch actually has an awesome one out believe it or not, but it is hard to find. Called bareknuckle stout. good shit. head is heavy and take sooo long to melt into creamy goodness. yummmm

overall there are some awesome domestic micros and you do NOT have to go international to find some gold. find a really good local shop that had a broad variety and go to town, it is the only way to really research your own tastes.

alley kat brewery has some great blends...
check them out too

ok must run to ABC brb
=D

Everyone should check out www.flyingdogales.com. They're a microbrewery from CO and their beer is some of my favorite, and the bottles, wich feature artwork by Ralph Steadman are fuckin awesome. They also made a special type of beer in memory of Hunter Thompson, which I have yet yo try. All the types they make are worth checkin out, good stuff.
I can't get the link to work, but if this is the brewery that has "good beer no shit" as their logo, and i am pretty certian it is one and the same I totally concur! very good brews

ROLLING ROCK!!!!

I'm suprised nobody has mentioned this. It blows any other beer I have ever tried out of the water! I hate beers such as Corona, Budweiser, Natty Ice, or any cheap beers. I do like Coors though.

Tennet's and Moosehead are the ones I most commonly order. Other beers of interest include: Corona, Muskoka, Tuborg, and plain old budweiser. Molson is good as well. I'm sure I'm missing some...

Heinekin/Corona for beer (when I have a little cash)

st. ides, colt 45, steele reserve, camelbak, olde english 800 for 40oz. that are gonna get me fucked

king cobra 16oz. 6 packs are also good to get fucked up for $4

all these are best served chilled at 8am in the morning, right before a shower =D

I keep it simple. Beck's, Killians. and when im feeling cheaper: Coors light.
cheapest: Bud ice 40

I fucking hate Heineken, though in all fairness I haven't had it since I started to really drink beer (but God it was awful). I'm not too picky otherwise, but Red Hook makes some good beers, though I don't remember which ones in particular were better. We used to just go the the brewery north of Seattle and drink them all until we got pissed.

#1 choice: Boulevard Wheat Ale ( I believe it is from St. Louis).

Last choice: Belikin beer. It is made in Belize and tastes like deet is the special ingredient.
