Favorite/ Best cheap beer?

Best cheap beer is by far Coors. Decent tasting beer, relatively cheap. If, however, I am too broke to drink that, then I just go to the malt liquer. Colt 45, Old E are the best. For 3 bucks you can get as drunk as you would on a 6pack of beer. Good shit if you're a starving college student.
 
i cant believe so many people like pbr. ive only had it once, and didnt even finish the can. but that was also awhile ago, when i didnt really ever drink beer. i need to try it again.

and rolling rock, another beer that im not a fan of.

(not trying to insult anyones beer tastes, just stating my take on those)
 
America's drug supply is pretty good in all other things, but they sure don't have that many good beers compared to Canada, Germany, or Australia :P

I know some people who think that rolling rock is like high class stuff. 8(

Miller Lite is also bangin, a little more pricey, but more quality then bud or coors lite in my opinion.

BL just got three times kewler in my opinion.
 
A suprising no show is Hueber beer. A case used to go for less than six bucks.... a good indicator of the quality though. The great thing about that particular beer was that you could return the bottles and almost have enough money for another case, lol.
 
I don't know how well known this stuff is, but my friends and i used to be pretty loyal to HaffenReffer Private Stock. (AKA Headwreckers) a 6pack for 5 bucks.

These things kick my ass all over the place. And under each cap is a playing card number&symbol (10/spades, queen/hearts, etc) Someone once told my best friend and I that it's nearly impossible to do, but If you collect a full deck in bottle caps, you get a free year supply or something. Hehe, my friend and I, being oh so young and impressionable at the time, made it our goal for one summer to collect em all. By September, we had 2 full decks... but no year supply, apparently that ended up being just a myth. .. lol

it's a punk rock hole in the wall dive kinda bar. so it only makes perfect sense PBR is served on TAP!
 
i live in chico ca where they make sierra nevada beer and you can get dollar pints any day of the week from most bars.
the brewery keeps the price down for the home town it costs no more than coors or bud here:)
 
After reading thru several posts in this thread, I find myself mildly disgusted.

The following are not even CLOSE to cheap beers:Coors, yuengling, budweiser. Icehouse is veryyyyy borderline also, but I'll let it go only because of the 3 more blasphemous choices.

Here's a good rule: If they serve it in most bars, IT DOESN'T BELONG IN THIS FUCKING THREAD!

Reading people talk about coors and budwesier as cheap beers has forever bruised my fragile psyche.

Now that we have that outta the way, my fav cheap beers are natty light, PBR, and one that hasn't been mentioned: American Light.
