The first time I tripped (mushrooms), I listened to "No Excuses" by Alice in Chains. That one song by them is perfect for it, but steer clear of all their other shit when you're trippin.

Fuck yea, VU rock so hard. Its practically impossible for me to pick a favorite VU album. Their 1st album, Loaded, and VU & Nico are all timeless IMO.

One of my favorite VU lyrics:

I gotta throw "Electric Ladyland" by the Jimi Hendrix Experience as an all time favorite of mine, especially when I'm in the mood to open the floodgates :)
