Fave Toys as a Kid

Ah LEGO - loved the stuff! Also was into painting and drawing. I never got into dolls really - except torturing my sister's ones. I was always climbing things too - a real tomboy. I had a My-Little-Pony too, which was how I learned to plait. I also had but-loads of puzzles!
 
ah...looks liek we are all lego fans. -grins-, me too.

I used to have a wooden block. i had drawn all these buttons for missles, the horn, indicator and other wierd and wonderfull 007 type shit on it. I used to take it in the car and pretend i was driving.

I look at it now and wonder if my parents put drugs in my kellogs.

i loved my cabbage patch doll first and for most =D

....always wanted a my little pony but never got one...same with pound puppies (a friend actually bought me a wee baby one a few years ago...best present EVA =D) had heaps of barbies but i just keapt giving them haircuts and making weird outfits for them :p
 
Ahaha I loved to make Barbie clothes! My sister fed one of my Barbies to our pet goose, and she ate up the arms, so that was good ina way because i could make all these cool 'gloves' for tha barbie and she became a Queen.
Ahaha I also had like a looney tunes 'tent' but it was all plastic and meant for indoors for children. Loved that thing too...
 
Lego was good, i had this set with a beach side cafe type things that you build. It came with pre-made bikes, and jets ski's and palm trees!! Thats some fancy ass lego :)

My brother had scalectrix i loved playing with this, only when i was allowed to of course.

Me and my sister were laughing the other day after watch some olden movies of us as kids. For my 7th birthday i got a typewriter ... a typewriter!! What the hell kid wants a typewriter!! I asked mum about it .. i apparently begged for it!

Cant believe no-one has mentioned play-do yet! We had this cool machine that was an icecream factory, you couldnt make soft serve, and cones and hot dogs. Good stuff.

The best toy i ever ever got, was my trampoline ... ahhhhh the memories :)

and mecano though i never got any. we were pretty skimp on all that sorta stuff especially cos it cost heaps.

and yep, i been drawing since i could hold a pencil and that was at like, one and a half!

Lego.. I still have a fucload of lego.. they were pretty much my extent but I love my power rangers Mega Zord.. fuck that was badass

zod rocked... he was out of the machine men (basically a rip off of transformers...)

he was like my all time favourite toy....

and i have no idea where he is now... :(
 
In one of those "you learn a new thing every day" moments, i found out today that it's actually "Optimus Prime" after calling it "Octimus Prime" for the past 20 years. I also found out that an unopened Optimus Prime still in its original packaging will fetch $US750 or more.
