Most of you have probably seen it administered on TV, or had to put a pet down ... you know, it's the blue stuff they inject (IV) into animals to euthanise them ... yeah, it's actually called "Fatal-Plus" - but you may also know it as Sodium Pentobarbital - yes, the same stuff you'd get in Nembutal (which is not that easy to get these days) .. the product (Fatal-Plus) is made by Vortech Pharmaceuticals .. anyway, a friend was doing his community service at a local animal shelter when he came upon a full bottle (and I mean like a 1 litere bottole, not some little vial) ... of course wackiness ensued, though given the concentration it took a lot to really get a buzz, but none the less, this is some fun shit, so I think we could all make the world a better place if we were to do a little voulenteer work at yer local animal shelter ...

(Don't let the name, skull-and-crossbones and the bold words "POISON" fool you, while 1cc may kill a fluffy little kitten or puppy, it's great fun in humans!)

This is my public service announcement for the week, I will be back in full effect within the next few days ...

Wow, I'm shocked that they don't put something in the "Fatal-Plus" that would make recreational use of it at least somewhat "fatal." I gotta find me a jug o' fatal-plus! Also isn't it a pain in the ass for vets to order huge jugs of Schedule II barbiturates to euthanize animals... wouldn't the hassle involved cause them to use something acquirable with infinitely less red-tape... such as antifreeze or paint thinner? What's the worse thing that would happen, the animal would die?

^^ probably sanitary issues... hitler injected people with water and air... free items and they did the trick. special drugs decrease the feeling of dying.

ahhhh so much about this concept makes me laugh and cringe at the same time... "yes id like to put my dog down... and while you're at it, why dont ya just give me a few shots too"

im assuming it was IVed?

maybe make some comparison to another drug.. or is it just a crazy buzz

also maybe we could think of a new name for it... im gonna have a hard time convincing my friends to hit some 'fatal-plus'

If anyone tries this make sure the active is Sodium Pentobarbital before taking it.

Not to insult anyone.

Well one thing I do know is that I've had a lifelong dream of becoming an elephant trainer so I could possibly have access to a few Wildnil tranq darts. Dilute the contents of a dart or two and have gave gallons of carfentanil to play with. Oh well, I can dream, can't I? :)

Yes, it's sinmply Pentobarbital ... kills by inducing respiratory apnea, with the proper dose it will kill in 10-30 seconds .. why not use other things? Simple, because when you put down an animal you have to be humane and this is one of the most humane ways (next to CO2 gassing which isn't really in use...)

Actually I started to research the drug and found that there is one company that makes ALL the Sodium Pentobarbital and they were cited back in 2000, which lead to a shortage of the euthanisa drugs, so they were allowed to produce limited amounts for euthanasia drugs only...

But yeah, the elephant trainer job would be nice...

Still, while the places that use this are held to the same requirements as anyone else using a C-II drug, aparently these places are horribly understaffed and, well, like my friend was able to do - he walked out with a full bottle ... but to order it they STILL must have a C-II, C-IIN DEA licence and submit a DEA form 222 ... but you know how my ever-scamming mind works, and it seems that while you'd have to do like 8 years of school to get a DEA licence, it would be a LOT easiser to get a licence posing as an animal shelter or some similar entity...

And I called my friend that still have about 3/4th's a litere left, so we will party again this weekend ...

As for what it's like, well, it's a barb, and when IV'd it's a damn powerfull barbituate experience... what would I compare it to? Well, given so few people here have ever had a REAL barb (not fiorinal) it's hard.. it's a very gentle sedation, the closest thing to compare it to would be something like a medium to high dose of Klonopin, and even that is not accurate .. really, barbs have their own unique sensation ..

I got a bottle of this pink solution, and it is called "euthasol", i obtained it when working at a vet. This is NOT sodium thiopenthal, this is pentobarbital. Still, they do the same thing. I used it to kill countless hundreds of cats and dogs (dying ones usually). I tried it IV'ed and orally, but IV was great, almost k-hole like, but different, i was awake and couldnt move, and it had somewhat of a slight hangover.

I think we got a 250ml bottle of the same/similar stuff Negro got.
It is pink and called "euthasate". Contains about 200 mg/ml of Sodium Pentobarbital.

It also was obtained from a vet, along with some palfium and ketamine.
It is good to have a vet for a friend. (Would be anyway)

We tried it for the first time last week. Talking about coincidence.
And yes it's a very gentle sedation. Much more of a body buzz than benzos would give. A bit cloudy.

My friend had to wait a bit for me to pick him up. We tried both on seperate days, so we could watch over each other, after all it is a easy drug to overdose on. He saw some bushes that looked really soft and nice. A perfect place for a nap.
So he slept there for about ten minutes and woke up again realising what happend.
Not feeling groggy or confused. Nice.

The doses we tried were small, I think, like half to one ml.
Negro or PhreeX: do you guys know at what dose you have to worry about your breathing and other vital functions?

Sodium Pentobarbital is the chemical in a number of "euthanasia drugs" ... stuff like 'Fatal-Plus", "Sleep-Away", "Euthasol", "Euthanasia-6" and a number of others... most of them have the same dose - in the case of the stuf I had (and the stuff Negro had) it was 390mg/mL ... personally I don't even want to give a dose because this stuff can definitly cause you to lapse into respiratory apnea, but I took several hundred mg's with no problem (aside from waking up on the floor) ...

But I think the "effects" described by the above posters should give you an idea of what yer in for...

And yeah, I also hear that it's easy to get this stuff... I had a fellow BL'er (name withheld) tell me he swiped a bottle as a vet tech, my friend was doing community service for a DRUG OFFENSE and his job was to clean shit out of kennels and he just happened to wlak intoa back room and saw a bottle laying out... I guess the thinking is that no one would want something used to kill animals - even though it's the same fun stuff that used to be sold (Nembutal) back when doctors actually scripted it....

Euthasol is very, very easy to get, whether you are a tech or a volunteer at a vert hospital. I am always tempted to try it, but because the dosages are so high per ml, I have been a pussy about it. Maybe I will strt with a quarter ml and see where it take sme from there. I have no one to baby sit me, so I am on my own if I fuck up. But from what I hear, it is a very tranquil and pleasant buzz.

Dependson the location... but yes, generally vets are slack with the security, but they still nead a DEA number and a DEA form 222 to order it (a C-II drug and by law EACH MG must be accounted for, also its supposed to be locked uop and ONLY one person should havea key) but yeah, at the place my friend ganked a full (un opened, still had the safety cap on it) bottle it was just sitting on a countor next to a bottle he said was only about 1/4 full an there were some large 15cc syyringes next to it, he grabbed some knowing that we would have to inject a LOT of it and these things had fucking 18 gauge needles... good lord, yer going to inject a fluffy little baby kitten and you use a needle thats almost as big as the needle used to pieriece my Labret, I'd think a 25-21 needle would be fine, but I guess the idea is to push it in as fast a possible so the animal doesn't slowly suffocate but rather has a smooth death ...

Luckily they were Lure-Lock syringes and I had some butterflies with 25g needles that fit perfectly ..

He has not been caught yet as he had to go in yesterday and they didn't say anything, so I told him to see if he can find of sedatives or other fun drungs.. mind you this isn't an animal hospital, but a county shelter where stray dogs and cats are kept for 5 days before they are euthanised, or if an animal has so mnuch as FLEAS they will take that animal to quarentine, give the owners 48 hours to claim the animal, then put it down.. he said that daily they put down about 5 dogs and 8 cats (in Florida we have a HUGE problem with ferrel cats as it's so warm year round the kittens are able to survive) .. the killing stops on the weekends as thats when most of the people come to look for a pet..

[EDIT - I was so fucked up I didn't even give a reply to yer original post ... 1/4mL? No, fuck that, shit, it takes 1mL/lb to euthanise an animal, so I'd say go for at LEAST 2cc (mL) or so... shit, I was up to 12mL (cc) before I made the mistake of standing up and then woke up hours later on the floor, butterfly next to me...

What about Ketamine? My vet buddy keeps (scuse me...napkin being used to capture drool) several dozen vials of ketamine (5 ampule) in his "home lab" (he's a home/travel vet, no storefront).

The way they regulate him is that he must provide paperwork for each animal he uses ketamine upon and submit a copy to the DEA. He could lose his license if there are discrepancies, esp. ongoing ones. Not that it's stopped him from quietly having the occasional, small ketamine "party" (if you consider a party where we're all laid out on the couch listening to far-off sounds of nearby things). ;)

Ketamine is a C-III drug right...?

The pharmaceutical vials I got said C-III on them...

Yes, C-III. Still not available without extensive paperwork submitted to the DEA (or else we'd all be ordering Vitamin K from our local websites).

vitamin K is actually absorbed thru gamma rays (the sun), and no, not ketamin, vK, its an actual vitamin, its used in the production of meltonin.. (not melenonin).. it makes one feel happy.

so yes, u can get high on the sun.

Are you thinking of Vitamin D? Its synthesised in the skin by using UV rays as a catylist/energy source. Gamma rays pass through the body too easily and also are far too high energy to be useful in chemical reactions. They destroy DNA and other weakly connected molecules.
You are right about the melatonin but its Vit D again.
