Fat Loss and Muscle Gain

I am very new to the steroid world and was wondering some things. First of all I just recently transformed my life from that as a lazy son of a bitch who was blessed with good genes to one that actually is active and began going to the gym 6-7 times a week. My good genes could not keep all the fat away from my four years of heavy beer drinking and fatty foods in college, so I am about 20 pounds overweight.

I began both an aerobic routine and a weight training routine. I usually do 30 minutes of aerobic and then my arms one day, my legs the next (aerobic every day). My first question is that I have stayed around the same weight, but clearly am seeing my muscles grow already (only being at about 2 weeks). Is it safe to say that I am replacing fat with muscle weight? Or have I just not gone long enough to see any weight loss yet.

My second question is will an addition of an anabolic steroid help me out in fat loss? My good friend is a gym rat and he happens to have a pretty good connect for those types of things. Again I know nothing about this shit, but if there is anything that is good for fat loss (and also muscle gain) I'm fairly sure he could get it. Thanks.

2nd question: No.

If you want fat loss, you need to find out your BMR here: http://swole.me/

And then you need to start with 500 calories below that maintenance intake as a daily reference range. Ideally, these calories should be coming from lean meats (Chicken, turkey, top round steak), complex carbs (Oatmeal, whole grain breads/pastas, brown rice, sweet potatoes), unsaturated fats (Nuts, fish, olive oil), and veggies.

Fat loss with simultaneous muscle gain is one of the perks of being a new lifter. After a while of this, you will usually be able to do one at a time. This is not complicated, just difficult in the beginning. Eventually these dietary and training habits will become second nature to you.

Next, ignore that workout split for now and look up Starting Strength. If you're dead centered on a more bodybuilding oriented split anyway, check out some articles on bodybuilding.com to see which one works best for you. SS would definitely be the most beneficial for the mass gain, calorie burning, and strength.

Steroids at your level are useless and potentially dangerous. Maximize your natural progress before going the chemical route. That is the key to preserving your health while being big and strong at the same time.

Those are the rudimentary principles condensed into a tiny nutshell. If you are dedicated to this, myself and others will be glad to help. Time for me to go. Bill O'reilly's on. %)

Thanks a lot that was exactly what I was looking for. I sort of figured that steroids would be a bad route to take, but wasn't sure if something a little less intense like creatine or something would help me at the early stages. I will be sure to ask you any questions I have. Thanks again.

Creatine is ok if you have the cash to spare. If you're having trouble eating the required amount of protein for your body weight, look into some whey.
isnt creatine for gaining mass not burning fat lol?
It's not ideal for burning fat since it can cause water retention but still beneficial to use for enhanced recovery/muscle cell energy.
