fat headrushes from meth?

so the other day my buddy rolled up with a half gram of some ice from his town. we proceeded to smoke it (duh.) it was cut with something gross that left a funny taste in my mouth and a bunch of residue behind, not sure if this is normal cut (the gak i usually get around here is pretty fuckin' pure, never leaving a trace of residue)

anyway, there were a few times yesterday when my vision started going black and shimmery, and i was struck by intense waves of dizziness. around this time, a bellringer akin to what would happen if i tried to smoke a gram of crack penetrated my ears, getting to the point where i could barely hear my friends.

this subsided after a while.

today, however, whenever I stand up, i get a similar experience. the standard is, i'll get up to go take a piss, everything goes black and fuzzy, then there's a mad ringing sound that's so loud i can barely hear myself piss. right before i sit down again the headrush subsides , as if my body knows i'm about to sit down again.

i'd opt to say that the headrushes would be caused by me sitting down all day and suddenly standing up, but that's what i do every day these days.

any advice? feels & sounds like the blood pressure's about to blow my ears right off.

bump. fat headrushes are still going on. research has led me to believe this is probably just some intense vasoconstriction... any input?

idk if that sentence was just worded weirdly or if my brain's only semi-functional atm.
are you telling me not to worry, or to worry excessively

I saying if you were getting head rushes due to vasoconstricton it would be quite serious.

But I don't think that's what is happening. More likely your blood pressure is low due to dehydration.

i get this mostly everyday. you get dots in your eyes, your ears ring, you start to feel uncontrollably off balance and when you sit down it subsides. it has to do with your blood pressure, but i don't know the real cause of it because i never asked my doctor. im kind of scared to ask for a check up on my internal body, mind and lungs...

Could be that your reaching your body's limitations with how much meth it can handle. It could be that you're dehydrated; could be that the ice is constricting your blood vessels too much; could be sleep deprivation; could be malnutrition; Hell, it could even just be anxiety.

In all honesty, what your experiencing seems completely common and is experienced by all speed/meth users. It's going to be one of your body's many aches and peculiarities that it will encounter on meth.

Either just ignore it, or find the source of the problem (not likely to happen. Its probably a combination of all the things I just listed above, and taking a break is the only thing thats going to make it go away).

Also, here's some other common ailments that amphetamine users tend to complain about:
- Eyes feel they're so hot they're going to pop
- Not being able to move certain parts of your body (this is a sign of muscle damage, btw)
- Feeling like the skin on your neck is too tight and is choking you
- Abdomen feels like its inflating like a balloon (gastrointestinal problems like excess gas caused from eating irregularly)
- Feels like if you stop moving, you're gonna die from a stroke or something (vascular constriction)

haha wow this just makes me want to steeeer clear from amphetamines in general.
something tells me that won't happen then. they're far too fun.

i considered dehydration as a possible cause today when i realized i'd only drank a single glass of water, after which i proceeded to chug many glasses but it's been more than 24 hours since i last toked up and i'm still getting nutty headrushes.

i doubt it has to do with my body's limits in capability to handle meth - this stuff was hardly potent at all. my standard ice was about 3x as strong... which makes me ponder if it was something in the cut (this did happen when i was blitzed on the usual shit, but it only happened once after i climbed this massive dirt pile)

whatever, if you don't think it's anything to worry about then i won't, and i'll just try to enjoy them

dude im still experiencing that, but holy fuck was it bad earlier. Everything looked dark and mysterious and evil. Blacks are very black and peripherals like gleam black. I had headrushes too but I assumed that was from all the ghb. I ended up buying a point of that new stuff he smoked with us at your house. Lasted me and marina till this morning. Feelin rough...

Enjoy the fun period while it lasts then. If you're smart about it, you can make it last months, years, or even indefinitely. Take breaks when needed. Drink water, eat small nutritious meals if you haven't eaten in a while, and take breaks from amphetamines (a few days inbetween doses can mean the difference between agonizing physical symptoms and euphoric amphetamine bliss)

Don't drink too much water at once though. Your body can only handle about 1 liter of water every hour at most. More than that can cause water intoxication - especially if you haven't had anything salty in a while, or haven't eaten anything. My personal strategy is to keep a bottle of water handy at all times, and keep taking sips off it. Everyone's body works differently though, you'll know yourself best when it comes to the fine-tuning of your schedule.

Maybe they did a shitty job at cooking it? I'd avoid the low-potency shit... all the other garbage in it can cause quite a body-load.

Does it only happen when you've been sitting in one place for too long? Might need to move around more

yeah, i'm definitely not stupid about my amph use. my 'binges' never last more than a day or two.
and yeah, i'm sure something was wrong with that ice. it tasted gross, and having to smoke that much gear to get high just doesn't really slide well with me.
annd, no. i went for a bike ride earlier (to pick up some more jib, ironically. the fucker ripped us off though, so we've got a nice back of rock salt sitting here. GOOF.) and every time I stopped to take a breath my world was filled with ringing and other such head-rushy symptoms.

and i still can't sleep. i haven't really dosed in well over 24 hours, save for a tiny toke i saved for the morning that didn't really do much.

fornax55 it sounds like you may have gotten hold of some bad amph. Might I suggest you cool it for a few days and take note of your symptoms. Try to remember whats going on just before each episode. If it continues I would say you were poisoned by some bunk. Unfortunately theirs not a lot that can be done at this point. Good luck!!!

yeah, i hope not. it's not really TOO bad - there's the standard shitty afterwords of any amphs (joint pains, lethargy, etc) except now i've noticed that there's a constant pressure in my ears, even when i'm laying down trying to sleep.

i'm gonna say the headrushes are probably caused by excessive hypertension, or a sudden drop in blood pressure whenever i stand up. the constant pressure in my head is more what i'm worried about, though i suspect my blood pressure might still be spiked. any remedies for this?
