No-one taking Ronaldo?

I'm thinking Ronaldo and Barry as my core - assuming GB will make it to Pool and end up with lots of assists.

Was about to say Wes Brown was a must in defence, but forgot that G Neville should be back (Brown is cheaper than the others, but gets all the benefits of the best back four in England).

Still working on me team, though.

Ronaldo is going to miss the start of the season... take him if you want to, but he'll be sitting on your bench for the first month or so...

Bit too expensive to have him just sitting around...

It's hard not to. They are pretty damn good value, and after their form last season, you'd have to be crazy to go without.

That may change as form permits, but we'll see

only pompey player i would even think about would be defoe honestly but chelsea, man u, everton, middles, man city, tott...only three games at home. that fixture list aint too appealing my man.

I really hope one of my starting players doesnt play tommorow because i left defoe on the bench and he is my first substitute, i used my wildcard this week and brought in zaki which seems to have been a good choice. I just hope that defoe will be in my team this week because he got 2 goals and an assist.
Ill be gutted if i dont get them points because i put him as first sub
