Fantasy Premier League 08/09 bluelight league

I just used my wildcard... pretty much had to...

Congrats to Pompey on the weekend :) after a couple of tough games, to come out and smash Everton 3-0 away! super win!

I've got Defoe, James and Distin in the team for a combined total of ~35 points this week :)

But now after wildcard, I've finally got Deco... pulled in Zaki as well... heard good things, and had been going strong :) Fabregas back from injury was a must too :)

seasons almost over and there are only really two teams in the title race for bluelight winners. The current leaders AZN Boii and closely followed by CB FC.

Im (pompey for the title) holding a respectable 9th position and my realistic target is to maybe get up to 5th or 6th but that would be very hard.

Holding up the bottom of the league is the bombsquad, pretty adequately named =D

Been a good compo, looking forward to next years when ill hopefully be a bit more competetive.
 
I remember palying this a few years ago when Negative was around, he was a good fella. Will keep an eye out for this next year.

Not looking successful :(

Should have kicked out Ronaldo a hell of a long time ago and got Gerrard in instead... was waiting and waiting coz Man U had a game in hand, which could have made a massive fantasy impact, but should have realised that with all the games at the end of the season, the impact would have been, and was minimal.

Eh, well still not too bad :)

^same, im playing a league for money with my mate an if last week i had swapped ronaldo for gerrard then i would have been 1 point ahead with 1 week left, instead i am 10 points behind :(
 
Barely holding 5th at the moment...not too shabby for not having watched a single premeir league match all season long. :)
 
Took out 2nd... atrocious final week, but still held on :)

Had a MUCH better season last year... well, we'll see how we go next season :)
