American football, is what we all lose our minds over.
What happens is they build a billion dollar stadium a mile away from low income housing because the land is cheaper, and spend an additional 300 million a year on a team, so it's obviously high-stakes. The guys who play have been playing football their whole lives.
But at the end of the day, all of this happens because of fans like us. We make the football economy go round and round. It's us as fans who love the vicarious violence and underdog stories about overcoming obstacles as a team from the comfort of our own homes.
And now that sports betting is only growing, not only is the NFL raking in money from TV commercials and stadium seating, but now anyone of age can bet their entire life savings on something with ever so slightly better odds of losing (unless you're playing against a real person, then there can only be one winner but at least the house doesn't win!)
It's entertaining to say the least.
