no one told me not to pick too many people on the same bye week either

is this your first year playing fantasy? i kind of assumed you'd be an old hand at this...

i was looking pretty bad for most of sunday. but j hurts ended up doing ok and my wrs did well: 34.9pts from justin jefferson; 15.6 for mike evans; and 16.4 from amon-ra st. brown. zach ertz was looking like a total bust before putting up 10.4pts to get me over the finish line with a win.

1-0 baby. roll on week 2.

last year was technically my first year, but I missed the draft and pretty much said fuck it all year. So yeah, this is basically my first time. I still don't understand all the stats that are used or how I'm supposed to find replacements for 4 players 3 weeks in a row. Do I have to drop the players during their bye week and pick a free agent to replace the ones who can't be replace by someone on my bench?

yep, exactly.

i've seen guys with 5 or 6 players on bye just take the loss because they don't want to drop anybody...

welcome to the wonderful world of bye-week management :)

ive never ever drafted according to bye weeks - i couldn't care less what week they're on bye - if they so happen to be mostly all in week 9, then fuggit, do the best i can, or just take the L

there's two sides of that - you take the L but you don't have to worry too much about byes the rest of the season

only 4 teams aren't gonna make the playoffs and nobody's going undefeated so stop giving yourself anxiety about the future because you don't even know how many injuries you'll sustain on your way to your big bye weeks

Should I bench aarod or is he gonna bounce back at home next week? I'm ready to swap him with Carr

I would bench Rodgers....they have a huge problem going on there and i would wait until i saw signs of life from those receivers

and then Carr, well he plays against AZ next week and you saw what Mahomes did to them - so i think that's a no-brainer - bench Rodgers start Carr for now

im in a showdown vs the Twinks for the division lead already in Week 2

when i say go

you say spooks

Whats the red and the green mean ?

i'd definitely consider that strongly.

last week, rogers managed just 3.7 points against a sturdy vikings defense. the bears d held trey lance to just 9pts.

on the other hand, carr scored ~16pts against a middling chargers d. this week he gets the cardinals who gave up 360 yards and 5 tds for ~44pts to mahomes.

carr is not mahomes but the decision looks pretty straightforward.

also, bear in mind that this is fantasy so whatever you do will be wrong :)

Right - that's what i told him but he doesn't trust me now because he's playing me

i told ya that before i knew we were playing each other

my only issue with benching Rodgers is that he's a bounce back candidate

other than that - that passing offense looked horrific - so i'd wait for signs of life - i also think the Bears defense is pretty good
