Hey everyone!
I recently got a UDS done by my psych
I have a history of drug dependence namely methamphetamine have been clean from all drugs for nearly 10 months and have been on Dexamphetamine to treat my ADHD so of course I tested positive to amphetamine type stimulate which me and my psych werent surprised by, but what really stumped me was she told me I tested positive to Oxycodone LS/MSMS not sure what that means but on my test result paper it says positives that aren't by GC/MS are just presumptive so im assuming that it not a 100% accurate test on the result yielding the Oxycodone
What and how on earth would cause my test to show a positive to Oxycodone the last time I touched it was almost a year ago for surgery also the only thing that has a pain killer in it that I've taken is cold and flu medicine containing codeine which I mention but my psych said that would show a positive for opiates not Oxycodone also I was taking cough medicine for my throat can't rmemeber if this was before or after my test but the cough medicine didn't contain any painkiller in it that I know of especially Oxycodone!
Thanks for the help guys
Cause my psych didn't seem to believe me which I understand from the test results she said the machine that does the test can sometimes get confused I've opted for another test as I have nothing to hide but of course I don't want my next test to yield yet another positive for a drug im not doing!!
I know I've rambled on here but any help as to getting to the bottom of this would fantastic

Sorry to hear that! I sadly have had hundreds of UAs done in my life time mainly by my juvenile P.O when I was a teen; when I was pretty fuckin wild. Anyways I never had a false positive, I've told him many times it was false but it never was. I don't know how Oxy could get in your system if you didn't take it. Usually Lab tests are like 99% positive but theres that 1%. Field tests are a little more unaccurate. Shoot for this second test and see what happens.

Hi! Thanks for the reply! Yeah my UDS's are for my corrections officer aswell and it literally just has me so stumped as to how it could possibly show up in the test
Also on the test it says how much amphetamine per ml there was cause of my prescription but with the Oxycodone it doesn't say how much was detected per ml which I find strange also
Im happy to take the test again as I know I haven't done anything but im scared it will show up again somehow and I might lose my prescription

That is VERY strange indeed. On the tests it always shows the levels in your system. UNLESS they didn't request to have your levels for the Oxy checked, IDK if they can do that or not. When you take the second test make sure you tell them if there is a mess-up you want to see the levels of Oxy in your system. They could be trying to screw you, who knows.. And yes, you usually get 1 get out of jail free cards with probation or whatnot.

Exactly! The didn't request levels of anything but they put the levels for the Dexamphetamine I wanna show you a photo of the test sheet and how strange this is

Yes, if you wish go for it. I would like to see it. Something does NOT sound right there. Like I said, I've had hundreds on UAs and not once had a result like that...

I had a false positive for amphetamines when I was in rehab. It turns out it was a suppliment that I was taking for weightlifting that caused it.

Make sure to get a second test, and make sure they show you the results.

Wow! It shows that opies are negative but still has Oxy listed. I'm on my phone now or I'd do a little more research on that. You might of just had trace amounts in your system...?
