Fallout 3?

Everyone who I ask about this game says its shit. I thought it was a lot better and way more interesting and playable then oblivion or skyrim. One of my most favorite games of all time. I do like the idea of the 50's but the future so maybe its just the story although the gameplay is also pretty fucking awesome if maybe a little boring. Definatley advise anyone to give this a try if they haven't ever played it.
New Vegas is ok as well but nothing special.

Anyone else a fan? I also liked the previous fallout's so maybe im just one baised mother fucker lol =D
 
I liked the first 2 but didn't really get into 3. Maybe I will give it another shot with some mods.
 
Fallout 3 is one of my favorite games of all time. I seriously can't comprehend how people get so worked up over Skyrim, it's shallow and boring as fuck.

Fallout 3 had such a good story, amazing characters, it kept you coming back for more. New Vegas lacked something, wasn't anywhere near as captivating.

I must have played, and beat Fallout 3 over 3 or 4 times now. Thinking of playing it again, honestly, lol.

They're ALOT more difficult though. Expect to die many many times due to random encounters with powerful enemies, right from the start!
 
cheers guys, after a bit of a ball ache i've managed to get fallout 2 working under linux. I'm going to get stoned as fuck and spend all of tomorrow playing it. yey! :D
 
Ah the joys of still running XP, pretty much everything still works :p

Are there any reasons to actually upgrade to win 7/8? (cost no object ;))

Started New Vegas last week.


I didn't play one or two, and the tutorial for 3 was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo looooooooooooong. But once I got to Megaton, I was hooked. Fucking LOVE it :D
 
Fallout 2 was my shit. Never got anywhere in that game, but it was still sweet.
I've played fallout 3 and I'm going to get it once skyrim gets old.

I can't be given that much freedom in a game. I spend too much time just wandering around.
 
Skyrim seems good I just get more interested in a unique story line. Not something very similar to every other medival-esque rpg's. Glad to see people agree with me, guess I just got the wrong mates hehe :P
 
I've tried several times to get into Fallout 3 having heard only good things about it, still had no luck however. Not sure what it is about it but it doesn't seem to grab me. I love the concept and the idea behind the story though. Not going to give up on it yet!
 
Fallout 3 was a real good game. I blew Megaton up and was a complete ass the rest ofthe way. And if we are gonna compare Fallout and Elder Scrolls id put it in this order: Oblivion, FO3, Skyrim
 
Just started playing fallout 3.... ive played lots of morrowind and skyrim, feels pretty much the same except obviously its futuristic instead of fantasy.

Bethesda makes fucking awesome games.

Am i tripping or is the dads voice Liam Nesson?
