falling in love on a psychedelic.

It's so easy for me to fall in love on a psych.

I remember tripping on shrooms and looking into the eyes of some guy I had just met a couple hours ago and noticing the beautiful colors inside of them. I felt like I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him, and usually it's really hard for me to feel that way about anyone.

Has anyone else had similar experiences?
 
interesting. did the feeling persist after the trip?

personally I feel empathogenic effects from shrooms, but I have only ever had high-dose experiences with people i have known for a while and have a fairly strong bond with.

I haven't seen him since the trip since he lives in another city. But I keep on kicking myself for not getting his last name or number or something. I left before I came down so all I can remember is suddenly being totally enamored with him when the shrooms hit.

Perhaps if I see him again sober the magic won't be there, I'll have to see whether I still see him that way.

I don't really mean falling for someone because they have drugs in common with you, I mean seeing beauty in them that maybe you didn't notice before.
 
I realized I was in love on mushrooms (she was tripping with me). I had been for awhile; was just too afraid to acknowledge it. We'd been together for a few months, but I'd always told myself it was totally casual.

That was one of the most beautiful moments of my life, when that realization hit.

Ah, I agree with you there then, that is drugs most powerful gift imho.... Seeing beauty, not just in people(though this is the best), but in pretty much everything ;). Though it lets you see the bad in people that are a pile of shit too, which isn't bad. %)

haha but real loving is the best thing! still thats very funny.

seriously though spiral. this might mean something if you knew the person before or they were just the right person. ive experienced this sensation recently, this connectedness and endless love for a person. this person is someone who is very special to me, so whilst tripping it is something pure. :)

its part of life maybe you do have love for that person, i dont think its really an easy sensation to get twisted, if you dig then you dig in my opinion. you should talk with them about it seriously! its something that needs communication with the other person, who may or may not be aware of your feelings.

express yourself anyways, make some art or something!

you can't just call psychedelics "drugs"

they have nothing to do with other kinds of drugs
 
No, but I can realize that I might be in love with someone already. Happened once. I was starting to feel something for someone, and so of course, I started avoiding. Took some mushrooms. Called and we talked about it for six hours.

NOTE: started avoiding her because she was married. :P
 
I fell in love one night at burning man this last year on acid. Met a girl who was also happened to be on acid and it was exceptional. Totally blew my mind. There was this instant mutual recognition of our material selves being individuated expressions of our transpersonal selves incarnating infinitely across the universe with the sole purpose of loving each other.

Sadly, it just wasn't there anymore when the drugs wore off. :..(
 
Oh man psychedelics and love are the best. Some of the best times of my life have been spending time with with my gf on psychedelics. Back when I use to get good acid, I remember the first time we had sex on it. We had tripped before but she didn't want to have sex because she thought I just wanted to get off, but I wanted to make love. We were only a couple of months into the relationship and my love was startin to grow. I felt like our body mind and spirit all transformed into one during that experience. Ill always remember that experience. Felt like endless love.

I've felt very strong emotions regarding love while tripping, but never to someone that I just met or what not. E use to make me think some people were so awesome...until I came down ;)

when you love some person,its just chemical reaction in your brain but if you love music so much that you will rather amputate your balls than lossing your hearing.... thats true love <3 dnb
 
I met my girlfriend when I was on mushrooms. I knew I really liked her from the moment that I saw her <3 and so I dosed her with mushrooms =D
We've been together for more than 10 years now and I still love her more than I can even express.

Yeh I've definately fallen on love on MDMA. I feel like u described when on psyche's though. Its interesting cuz I always wonder if other ppl have similar experiences.
