Falling asleep after e

Whenever i take ecstasy i have a really hard time falling asleep. Does anyone know if there are any sleeping pills that are safe to take after taking E?
 
Any sleeping pill will be safe to take.. just don't over do it..

Alcohol may help.
 
I have the same problem. However, I would not suggest taking a sleep aid. Just not worth the risk of mixing it with other chemicals, especially since you don't know for sure exactly what you're taking in a pill most of the time.

Just my two cents. Sucks not being able to sleep, but it's a price to be paid I guess.
 
Your pills musn't be clean / pure MDMA.

Every pill I've ingested I've been able to get to sleep perfectly fine. All of us have, a friend snorted 2 of them off the bat, then fell asleep as soon as he came down. Another friend popped half a pill, and fell asleep 2 minutes later. (about 15 mins later he started gurning like a madman in his sleep, hahaha). :)
 
Quick tip, do clean pills. Clean pills won't really cause you to stay awake (unless you decide to sleep on your peak). Oh and also, don't do it at like 4 in the morning and then try to sleep at 6.

Do it at like 8pm and you'll easily be able to sleep at 12-2am
 
When I get home I usually have a few glasses of Vodka and coke or Jd or something, a quarter litre of vodka or something usually gets me to sleep.

or a nice few lines of k, thats just me though
 
Generally, I tire myself out through the night and am able to sleep.

If not though, the best is a xanax and/or melatonin. Maybe a few beers after you've come down.

I've found that most other sleep meds leave me groggy and even more dehydrdated the next day (like ambien or diphenhydramine/benadryl).

I disagree- everyone responds a little (or a lot) differently to MDMA. I know the first year or so of my use, I could not sleep for hours, and kept waking up. This was especially true if my pills were pure MDMA, or I took a lot that night. Though "dirty" pills tend to be cut with stimulants, and MDMA in itself feels like more a grounded, flooring stimulation, it still can make it hard to sleep.

I usually dose up on Valerian root, which is natural. If sleeping is especially difficult, I'd go for prescription sleep aids.

Typically, the thing to avoid after MDMA is stimulants. I'd double check on the combo being safe, but in general "downers" once you're coming off MDMA are considered low risk.
 
I've never had a problem sleeping after my comedown on m.
My friends snort k or smoke weed sometimes ... not sure how safe either of that is so you should get a second opinion if either works or is safe

pure mdma is enough to keep you awake for hours.
 
Once we hit the stage in which we are coming down, at least past the plateau, I find it easy to sleep.

A night out in November I had 2 Pink Diamonds, was rolling from 11:30 - 8am (near enough baseline), I fell asleep at 5am, though I did wake up at 7 and 8am - I was still getting noticeable rushes in my legs. Woke up feeling fresh as a daisy at 1pm :)
 
If it's good shit I can usually sleep, extra easy if you smoke a couple of joints on the comedown :)
 
I always have trouble sleeping, whether its good MDMA, cut to death MDMA, and quite often when I'm sober.

I would like to say please DO NOT mix any of the drugs listed below! Except maybe weed. This is a list of favorite to least favorite. If I don't have my favorite, I take the next one down the list and so on.

Opiates are by far my favorite thing for coming down. Hydrocodone, codeine, poppy tea, or oxy (even though its mildly stimulating in itself.) They do a great job smoothing out the edge and make me comfortable (duh) to the point that the comedown is not entirely unenjoyable. Obviously don't take enough to nod out, thats asking for trouble. If you have no opiate tolerance (like me) then the equivalent dose of 10-20mg hydrocodone is a good place to start.

2nd is probably weed - no explanation needed. This doesn't usually work for me, but I would certainly try it before going on to number 3.

3rd best are benzos - Which I do not enjoy, recreationally or otherwise. However, they do smooth out the edges but without the comfort that opiates provide. With zero tolerance, I find the equivalent dose of 1-2mg Xanax good.

4th is ambien - I used to enjoy daily until I decided to quit. One is enough. Its a really strange mix, ambien and MDMA. Weird indeed. And it will help promote sleep.

5th would probably be GHB - very similar to the effects of alcohol (also a gabaergic) but not as bad for you and not a lot of liquid to swallow - as is the case when drinking alcohol. 1-2ml is a good starting dose for me. Be careful not to take too much. Drinking too much GHB is more forgiving than drinking too much alcohol, but that doesn't make it fun. Another plus of GHB is that it is not hepatotoxic (bad for your liver) while alcohol is, and the is no hangover, as there also is with alcohol.

5th is alcohol - I try not to drink away comedowns, and haven't had to in quite a long time. It's not at all healthy to mix with MDMA, it does not promote good (or even halfway decent) sleep and it leave me feeling worse the next day that I would otherwise. At most only a few drinks, the goal isn't to get staggering drunk, just get to sleep.

I find the supplements, while they sound nice and healthy, do not help me sleep. I always take 5-HTP, vit c and some B supplements after rolling. If I believe it works, maybe it does. Have I felt it working? No. But I still take it, because its easy and it might work.

Smething that does help is to force down a little food (bananas or oatmeal are good for this) and drink a couple bottles of water or glasses of OJ. You might not feel immediately better, but your body appreciates it none the less and will reward you the next morning by feeling less shitty than it otherwise would.

This is all just my experience, so don't give me shit if your opinions differ. Many people swear by valerian or other roots/barks/leaves/whatever. That's fine and more power to you. To each his (or her) own.
 
I don't have a hard time sleeping after MDMA use. If you do, try taking some 5-HTP.
