fallen angel
broken angel
i hear you crying
and as you fall
i feel you dying
you are the wings
of my despair
and as you fall
i watch them tear
your innocence
and precious face
are but a memory
filling some space
and if i could
i'd hold your hand
to help you mend
this broken land
her life in the shadows
her tears in the well
her wings were eroded
i cried when she fell
this touched me in a very important part of my life and i will remember it always
