Hey everyone, I'm pretty sure I've run across some fake OC pills. When I searched I found some posts about fake ones but they look nothing like the ones I have (they were brighter green and smaller, apparently they had fentanyl in them). The ones I have look pretty damn similar to the real thing but there are some things about them that definitely aren't right... I don't know if they're fake or expired or what but anyways. Here's a picture so you can see what I'm talking about...
The coating is cracked along the edges of the pills, and look at the one in the bottom left, there's some weird marking between the 8 and the 0 like the pill melted or was pushed against something that dented it. They are also slightly splotchy looking, like the color isn't completely the same over the surface of the pills. When I put the pill in my mouth to get the coating off, there was a very bitter taste (unlike that of normal OC) and the coating seemed to stick to the pills even after I rubbed water on them and tried wiping them with a tissue. Also, when the pill was ground down it didn't turn to powder very well, there were lots of little chunks that I couldn't crush no matter what I did. The powder wasn't white, it was a faint grayish/yellowish color, and burned when snorted. I ate about three quarters of the pill and snorted the rest, which should be more than enough to get me feeling good, but nothing noticeable really happened.
I got these pills in a foil package, the kind where you kinda pop the pill out of the foil, I think they're called blister packs. The package was red and yellow and said OC-80, then underneath it said (Oxycodone 80mg / Acetaminophen 650mg). That should have been enough to let me know something wasn't right about them but the dude said they were from Canada. I wish I still had the package so I could upload a picture of that also but I threw it out. The package itself looked legitimate, with Rx ONLY and serial numbers and shit like that on it which is another reason I wasn't more suspicious.
I guess what I want is to give other people a heads up about these, and to know if anyone else has ever come across anything like this, or these specific pills maybe? Does anyone know what they actually were? I honestly didn't even know there were any fake OCs, I thought that was more of a thing with ecstasy pills. Sad when you can't even trust prescription pharmaceuticals...
