Suggesting that the reporting may not be 100% accurate isn't being an apologist for fascism, Si.

The fact is that 'racist Pole' has become a stereotype, much like 'racist white African'. So any violence perpetrated by Poles is automatically associated with fascism, when 95% of the time it's the same as any other drunken violence.

This may have been fascist-inspired - I don't know. But Owen has a right to question it without you flinging muck at him.

No I'm someone that has spoken to someone who was there at the time and another person who knows the polish community in that area. The people in question are just known drunkards that hang out in that park, and incidentally it was one of them that got stabbed.

Put it this way - had this been a DM article condemning 'black violence', you'd instantly question their motives and the accuracy of the article.

I'm not even questioning the validity of the source, I'm flat out stating it's wrong.

It's a VICE article ffs, fucking 50/50 chance it would be horseshit even if I hadn't spoken to numerous reliable sources with no vested interest.

I'm more interested in why you two feel so strongly that the story is false... other than the unverifiable hearsay from little Owen, you've produced nothing to refute the story. So lets assume it's true, & discuss the story. If that's not too unreasonable.

Isn't it funny, for instance, that a group of immigrant facists are doing the sorta work that good upstanding British facists are too lazy to do..?

Si, I never said I believed the story to be true or false. I just took exception to your ridiculous allegations against Owen and asked you a question. Twice. One which you still haven't answered.

Why can't anyone post something that actually refutes the story, if so many people that Owen knows saw what really happened, where are they? Bring them into EADD, we could use more good people, couldn't we?

The Tottenham & Wood Green Journal (the local paper) and the Standard are both insinuating it was indeed an attack by fascists. Including Jews being specifically targeted and having their skull caps knocked off.
