Face breaking out after IV opiate use

I dont know wether its the shooting up or its the oxycontin. But after I use afew days ina row my skin really breaks out in pimples. Which is odd cause i have perfect skin all the other times. So does any1 else get this issue? Or have some sugestions like a good cream or something. here is a pic, yea idunno cause my skin is clear all the other time when im not using. I so wanna know wassup.

First pic: me taken last Saturday hadnt used, was taking a 2week tbreak. Have done opiates 3 times since then. Used today and then sunday once in the morning and once at night. Monday I took off.

I break out with pimples and what not when I start taking methadone. After a week it stops/goes away. Get your doctor to script you benzoyl peroxide 5%.

When using heroin I did notice my face would break out more frequent, but it could just be how you react. Drugs act differently on everyone, some of my other friends who were junkies wouldn't have that issue.

While under the influence, most opiate users seem to touch their faces a bit more than they realize, although this is certainly not the only reason for the breakouts. If you keep the face touching to a minimum, and try to stay regular in the bowel department, and eat as healthy as possible, the breakouts should be much less severe.

When using hydrocodone, I break out VERY bad; on my neck especially. Neck and chest actually, when I normally have few pimples.

IMO, it's from the constipation. Kinda a gross explanation, but you think about all that waste that's just chillin in your body, I know that can't be good for your skin.

As soon as I get off the damn pills, it goes away. I guess you can use some benzoyl solution of or something, but I really believe it won't help unless you get off the shit.

Have you used Heroin before?

If not it could be a morphine allergy.

A girl at my meth' place is allergic and has had to stop cause her face gets really spotty and red.

Heroin often causes me to get those deep, painful zits on my face, if I use for a couple, three consecutive days (which is rare for me). I always assumed it was related to the extreme dehydration my skin gets from dope.

I also suspect it might be the body's way of rejecting some of the toxins I'm putting in it.

yea i v used heroin before, I actually get it less with heroin. When the pics were taken I was using OC

I can relate. When I take a break from opiates (usually every few days for a couple of days) I notice my skin clear up. Opiates are a bitch for ones complexion; at least for mine.
